The Indigo blemish against a darkened sky slowly covered the bustling yet loud city. Floodlights and different shapes of luminous glows striked the air above with a soft touch. Despite the scene of heavy traffic, noise pollution and split-second commotion, the city appeared to be quiet in a sense. Communicators that blurt out the latest news were all on the same subject, and the communicators inside the cruisers were the same. The sheer surprise and dread of current events has shaken the city, but most of all it’s victims.

Inside a small, grey cruiser a cerulean Togruta and an olive-skinned Human were perched and silent. They did not share looks, thoughts or spoken for what felt like most of the night. Their purpose in the atmosphere was not known to any but them. As their bodies represented a calm manner, their eyes however were not. A focused look - however - would show an aura of anticipation surrounding the two.

From a stray thought, the Sith Warrior stared at his leader and whispered to his ear.

“Think Nar Shaddaa suspects?”

With a soft nod, Lexic kept his gaze straight ahead with a word then handed Meleu a portable communicator. The Human switched it on and begin to call contacts in the grimy planet.

“I got nothing, maybe something closer to us. Like on Selen?”

“They were using the stock market as a vantage point, which is silly.”

Meleu nodded softly and rubbed his chin, which felt like sandpaper.

“We report to Arcia, then make our way to Atyiru’s bed. Once there, we will plan our own intrusion and assassination.”

“How? We don’t know the woman, the buyer or the motive. I would suspect some big corporate name, but that’s still a very broad area. How will we proceed from here?”

The Battle Team Leader stared ahead, his eyes sharpening due to a growing sense of confidence as well as an increased hatred. He clearly had something on his mind that he regretted, something his conscience did not agree with.

“We enter the fold, we become them.”

Greetings fellow Brothers and Sisters! We have arrived at my fifth Dark Forge report and there is no end in sight for our proud House. We only finished Operation: Figurehead a few days ago before another horrific incident occurred. Our Aedile was shot. She is mortally injured and we are unsure if she shall survive. But fear not! Out of the blue and the darkest depths of the Arconan prison system came one of our own heroes, Dark Forgean Ood Bnar rushed to the rescue and saved our blinky damsel in distress. We also have some heavy promotion action in the Clan, some awards, some SA and a bit of activity. But fear not! Dark Forge will always be here.

Meleu the Sith Warrior

Every time I open my Inbox, there are mails describing Meleu’s actions and yet another incredible thing he has achieved. There is no rest for this guy, he just keeps going at it. I want to give a personal thank you to Meleu for all that you have done and I would like to wish that you have an amazing time in Arcona for the rest of your EQ1. It won’t be long before that changes I presume. Here’s what I wrote for his recommendation. Congratulations on the promotion good sir. Eyes on the horizon.

Shadow Academy

This is a big area for me. I’ve always regarded education as the starting point for any member of this club, and indeed you may keep revisiting this function and doing better, or worse, over the time spent. But it’s an incredible place to be informed, to prove your worth and to generally get into a healthy rivalry. Because there’s nothing wrong with a scrap and some blood over scribes and opinions. You guys rock. Meleu has received a Dark Maven in Service - 141 Days, oh gosh! Kordath has passed Consular Core - Interested in HOU, old friend?

AWOL

I need to reiterate this because it seems that my message doesn’t get across. I need every member of my team, not just the EQ4 and EQ1, but the guys down by me at JM7. I want all of you to come online, have fun and kick butt in what you do best. Few gamers, few writers and even less leaders, but we have them all here and I’m proud to call you all brothers. With the exception of the fairer, better sex. Ktana, we need you and you know it. So if anyone sees her, give her a prod for me and ask her to reply to Aabs’ email, then sign back in with us.

Commander Corner

Just a few personal words to say. Thank you everyone for the nice comments following my promotion to Sith Warrior. I have to say that I would never have reached Equitehood without the help of my fellow Arconans and Dark Forgeans. Welcome back Kordath after a brief break from the Brotherhood and also thanks to Lexiconus for handing me the responsibilities as Sergeant. On a side note, if any Journeymen or bored Equites are looking for a few jobs, I have various wiki-related tasks that I will need help with. Also look out in the near future for a competition lead by myself and our lovely Proconsul, Legorii. ~ Meleu Karthdo

Personal Note

In terms of the future of Dark Forge, i’ve got several competitions written and ready to be progressed through the MAA office. Have no fear about if you’re waiting for awards, more will be put out by myself and others for your effort in Operation: Figurehead. It’s just waiting for Operation: Revival to conclude first, then wrap things up and package the medals your way. If you want to help with some DF fiction, you can always message me ideas. If you have some cool and amazing ideas for comps, activities or other misc, i’m still here to listen. Remember to always be too school for cool. Winter is coming.
