Hello team,

Not going to bother with another introduction of who I am and what I aim to do, we got that out of the way upon my appointment. I don't need my time wasted, nor should yours be either. Getting right to the point, there hasn't been much in terms of measurable activity since I took the reigns. While this is good for my inbox, this isn't the greatest thing for you guys.

The point of this team is to work together, both fictionally and in terms of the people at the keyboard. Feel free to hit me up and we can start looking at, say, Shadow Academy courses that can be completed for some easy recognition.

Keep in mind, at the end of the day not a single one of you is serving under me. I am here to serve you in any way I can. I can't serve unless you let me know what's up.

There is a great chance for recognition going on right now, in the form of competitions from our Clan level Summit. I know through talking to most of you that these have been completed. If so, great and let us keep that going for the next round. If not, you still have time to get it done! It really takes maybe 10 minutes tops to get these in and they really get your mind going, which is great.

House Business

We are all busy little bees working through the Shar Dakhan retrofit right now. Some of you are already on board helping with our own team's wiki page upgrade, and that's awesome. I'm going to be adding a bunch to it and that will give each of you opportunities to put your own mark on our identity. Some of you may not like where things are going, and it is great to voice that. I only ask that we all try to keep arguing to the intended recipients' inboxes, rather than garnering a captive audience/victims.

As for what that direction is, things are becoming a lot more open in terms of Naga Sadow's existance in our system. We are moving even further from the trappings of Dlarit and embracing the Warhost. This is exciting, but also means changes all the way down the line. For instance, it is no longer necessary for our team to hide behind a cover system. If being in a swoop bike gang is something you, or your character, enjoy then you may by all means continue this cover. Know that it is not mandatory of all in the team, as I myself will not be fictionally partaking in it.

This rebuild is everyone's chance to shape Shar Dakhan into something greater. The biggest challenge facing us, that our sister house dealt with long ago, is the defining of our identity. This was a task not even I completed during my tenure at the helm. It is difficult, and requires everyone working together.

So let's all work together and make this the best House in the club.

Parting Words

I'm not sure what more I could say. We all are here to have a good time, no one is chained to their desks and no one is getting paid. (If they are, someone better share the love)

I have always had an open door policy, and I will continue to have it. In fact, I don't even have a door. I can be reached on Hangouts, WhatsApp, email, and IRC. The only time you won't get a response is Monday-Friday from 7:15 AM EST - 4:10 PM EST. My workplace is a phone free zone.
