Hello all, and welcome to the February report. With the initial competitions of Operation: Cobalt completed, the only remaining question is: what consequences will the outcome hold for the Clan? As you may or may not know, there has been a lot of shifting of leadership positions this past month, so things might be a bit confusing for the next week or two as folks settle into their positions, get the lay of the land, and get their cadences down. The new leadership includes:

• Quaestor (HSD): Mystic Darkblade
• Aedile (HSD): Warrior Bentre Stahoes
• BTL Sapphire Squadron: default to Hunter Mactire Chemel, BTS
• BTL Devil’s Shroud: Professional Qyreia Arronen

Note: currently, the House leadership has decided to remand the position of Battle Team Sergeant, so there will be no call for applications until such time as this ruling changes.

REPORTS

With the close of the Dark Council competitions, the higher-ups have brought down quite a bit of information to be processed. On the homefront, Sapphire Squadron needs a new BTL after Scarlet’s resignation, and former Grand Master Muz has revived the Night Hawk Battle Team in House Marka Ragnos. These are good opportunities for people that are looking for leadership experience or want to have their name tied to an “elite” Battle Team.

The Brotherhood on the whole has offered a plethora of information for its members. The Seneschal’s report gave an update on possessions and competitions, the latter including the different types available with the updates, as well as a general changelog that shows they are working hard for those of us on the lower end of the totem pole. The Voice had a massive report about character changes and weapons, including new rules regarding Non-Force users (NFUs) and a large section of notes on proper Character Sheet construction; I highly recommend reading it. The Grand Master’s Invitational Tournament is in its final stretch, so go check it out for some exciting battles! Finally, the Chamber of Justice had some rulings that, while not pertaining to anyone here, should be looked at for the sake of simply knowing what consequences await those who do not adhere to the rules of the Brotherhood.

COMPETITIONS

Operation: Cobalt is over and graded, and it is only a matter of time before we see what the fictional results were. I would like to take a quick moment to congratulate the whole of our Clan with our results on the DC competitions, with Naga Sadow taking top spots across the board! Way to go CNS! That said, with many of the late-January Sadowan competitions closing, the DJB still offers plenty of opportunity to earn yourself some shinies. Go get some!
