Honorifics

I just have a couple of points to cover in this short report. First, based on feedback we received about the new Honorifics system, and after discussing it with the Clan Summits, we have decided to remove the old Order names (Obelisk, Krath, Consular, Sentinel, Guardian) from their corresponding rank name honorifics. We made this decision for three reasons:

1. The Order names add clutter to the dossier and roster display, and can already be represented by a member's choice of Tradition (e.g., Krath Adherent).
2. Making honorifics Order-agnostic will open them up for more members to use. Maybe you want to be an Archpriest as Jedi, or a Blade Master as a Merc. Now you can do that without having to be explicitly tied to the old orders.
3. The rank names for our modern Orders do not contain Order references, so this change makes all of the rank-based honorifics more consistent.

If you're using an honorific that contains one of the old Order names, it will disappear at some point soon and you will not be able to reselect it. However, all of the old ranks names will still be available (minus Orders!) with one exception: Obelisk Exarch is being deleted, not replaced, because we now have a position named "Exarch" and we want to avoid any confusion. This system is still brand new, so expect more changes and additions to come. If you have any ideas for new honorifics, please reach out!

A Thank You from The Mandaboo

As most of you are aware, the member formerly known as Appius recently suffered a tragic loss in his family. He has taken a step back from the club but, thankfully, has not left us entirely. He asked me to express to all of you how grateful he and his wife are for the love and support you've poured on them during this harrowing time. The last few days have been profoundly sad for many of us who know Appius, but we've also seen this club and its members at their best. I am very proud of all of you; proud to be a member of this club. I hope we can continue to provide a positive and uplifting outlet for Appius and anyone else who needs it, whenever they need it.
