Hello gang!

If you have read Mav’s report, or have been on IRC daily, you’ll have noticed my absence. There were some health issues and hospital time involved, but I’m back now. I'm doing swell now, still some pain here and there but nothing I can't handle. There's not really much more to say about it other than that I've been gone a bit too long and that it was rather unexpected.

There's been a lot of stuff going on in between my leaving and return, so I'll walk you through it in the following paragraphs.

Dark Crusade: Fading Light

Probably the worst kept Brotherhood secret since forever, the next step of the Crusade interlude will heavily feature the ACC. For those that don't know what the ACC is, it's an original Brotherhood platform that pits two people against each other in a battle of wit, writing, and asskickery. Players take revolving turns writing out a battle between their characters. Our very own Mav runs the show. So go bug him with your questions.

I’d like to see you all do the ACC exams in the SA in preparation of the event.
The fundamentals course gives you the basic idea of the how's, what's, and why's and should be the first thing you do if you are interested in helping Taldryan kick some ass. ACC Fundamentals
After the Fundamentals course, you'll have to get qualified, this is also done in the Shadow Academy (as opposed to in the ACC itself like it was done in the past). ACC Qualifier

Competitions galore!!

There’s some stuff going on, hit the linkS, read the details, and… SUBMIT TO ALL THE THINGS!!

1. Tarax Has An Idea: Don't be fooled by the title, this thing is actually brilliant. As you may or may not know, Tarax recently got himself Revelation, Ferran's sword (No Sid, it's not Revan). Of course, Tarax wouldn't be Tarax if he wouldn't give it a new name. He's graced you all with the opportunity to name it for him though.
   
2. Easter Sunday Funday!: Yacko brings you one of his famous competitions. I won't spoil the fun, so click through and get the details yourself.
   
3. Ice. In Summer.: A competition about Hockey, hosted by Taldryan's very own Zoron. I know nothing about the sport, so it's best if you follow the link and read up on the details on your own.
   
4. Wardens Weekly Puzzle #4: Dru is hosting the 4th installment of the Wardens' Weekly Puzzle, it's open to the entire clan. If you like breaking your head of pieces of virtual paper, this might be your thing! (and even if it's not, do it anyway.)
   
5. Bounty Hunting 1: Hosted by Zednich Wolfram, you are dropped on a planet with no access to your Force Powers. You'll be hunted down and have to fight for your life.
6. Bounty Hunter 2 : Hosted by Brimstone, you are tasked to hunt down a bounty hunter (the reverse of the above).

House News
sirbru recently got promoted to Novice, which means that he's taken his first step in becoming an active, contributing member of our little family. Be sure to congratulate him when you bump into him.

Stuff for the future
Yes, yes. I'm aware that Mav and I haven't really been hosting a lot of competitions. We'll be sitting down and solving that problem soon. Expect some stuff to hit the competition list next week.

The future of Dinaari and Taldryan has been a much discussed topic. If you've read Halc's reports, you'll get the general idea of what we'll be looking to do. We'll be sitting down with the rest of the summit to work everything out in details. There's not really a lot that I wish to share about this at this moment in time, because spoilers are bad, and you should feel bad if you spoil Game of Thrones for me.

Tomorrow marks the day that I was born, that's all I have to say about this. I don't like getting older.
