There’s a new (mini) boss in town!

Applications for Aedile ended a couple of days ago, and a decision has already been made (this stuff really shouldn’t take more than a day or two to decide on). There were a handful of people who did show interest in the job, but in the end we all agreed that this choice would serve us best.

As such, everyone please join me in welcoming Aiden Dru to the Summit! Congratulations, Dru! Now, get to work :P

Also, this means that Wardens BTL is currently open. Dru and I will be talking things over, so expect some sort of announcement shortly on things. Until then, Zoron is in charge (and may whatever gods he believes in have mercy on his soul).

We haz people!

We recently had a few people join our wonderful House. First up is Kal Xehort who comes to us all fresh-faced from the Shadow Academy. He’s already risen to Novice, so we hope to see him continue that activity!

Next up is Draco Sangria who returns to us after spending some time in the Rogues. Looking forward to you reaching DJK, Draco! Welcome back!

Last, but certainly not least, Andan Taldrya Marshall, or just Crix, rejoined the House as well after spending quite some time in the Rogues. Great to have you back home, Crix!

Gathering Darkness: The Darkening!

No, that is not the name of the first “real” chapter of Gathering Darkness. However, this week did see the release of a new set of competitions for everyone to participate in! Two of them will last the length of GD, while the other is only for this chapter.

A Lengthening Shadow is a competition focusing on Ektrosis and Wardens, where we are asked to capture Cole Drayson, who is roaming around Karufr. This is a fiction competition ending this weekend on the 27th.

Cannons to the Left and Cannons to the Right are ACC and Gaming competitions respectively. They will run the entire length of the competition. Challenge people, win and reap the rewards!

He’s got 5000 problems, and the DB’s all of them

This actually occurred a little over a week ago, but since I didn’t get a report out then it gets mentioned now. I do what I want, people! :P

Anyway, it appears the great Oppressor of Medals; the Panda-One, has managed to stay at his currently rank for 5000 days. That, my friends, is over 13 and a half years. So, um...congratulations, Howie? Keep up the great work and here’s hoping for another 13 years? :P

Wide World of DB

There were a few new members of the SA staff announced, including some guy with a green fetish :P

The MAA has resigned (remember folks, going AWOL for 3 weeks is usually bad for DC members) and applications came and went for a replacement. There should be an announcement soon?

In the same mini-GM report linked above there was also some news about the Ribbons that will be given out for the Dark Crusade and Fading Light, as well as what the Seals may look like.

The fourth round (ugh, it’s been only 4 rounds? :P) of the ACC Ladder was opened up. There were six Taldryan who made it to this round. My opponent already timed out, so I’ll be moving on. Unfortunately, Jac timed out as well due to RL rearing it’s ugly head. Cheer on the remaining Taldryan, including our very own Zoron!
