Hello Ektrosis, happy new year and welcome to my second report as your Quaestor. As you can see it's been quite a while since my last report and while real life has kept me busy during the last weeks, your summit hasn't been as lazy as it might seem, so expect to see reports from us coming out on a more regular basis with the start of the new year, but now let's get started:
New year, same old House?
When I became Quaestor of House Ektrosis I asked myself how will Ektrosis fit into the new Taldryan and the new Brotherhood, as the days where we all were able to use the Force are gone. Partially the answer lay in the past but to rise the tension some more, I will take up on that topic later in this report =P

One of the most interesting things related to Brotherhood wide news recently was the announcement our Voice posted regarding Loadouts, basically the Loadouts visualize the gear your character wears similar to other Computer games on your Character Sheets, to get more informations, you can read his Report here: Voice Report #4

As for the big news announced earlier this report, I would like to introduce the Sphere of Research and Intelligence:
When Taldryan first clanned, Ektrosis served as the Krath House, who were the scholars of the Brotherhood, the researchers of the mysteries and secrets of the Force, but why stop there, why limit us to research ancient rituals? Beside the mystical aspect there is always the technological, what makes things work the way they do? And why do people do what they do? In the real world Intelligence has become as important as technological advancement. That for I would like to introduce the Sphere of Research and Intelligence.
Fictionally the Sphere of Research and Intelligence (in short SRI) will be a joint venture between the remains of Taldryan's Expansionary Forces Intelligence Directorate and the Force-users of Ektrosis. In that scheme Ektrosis will become the part of Taldryan who will deliver the Clanleaders with the informations it needs to stay ahead of the other Clans and the Iron Throne, may it be in form of researching technology or ancient rituals or being those who go under cover and infiltrate another organization to get us informations on a crucial target. So to say, the SRI will mostly behave comparable to the american FBI or the german BND.
In the following weeks, Thorn and myself will release more informations and adress questions that may arise with our upcoming reports but for now I am searching for 2-3 members from Ektrosis who would like to help us with working out some things we need to start and you will see featured in the upcoming House storyline.

There are currently several competitions going on including Alaris Series competitions Fiction, Flash Game and Gaming as well as Howie's 'Not-Consular Puzzle' and 'Hunt the Jedi' now run by Mark. Lastly I have requested an extension for the Droid Madness Competition as there weren't any submissions yet. I highly recommend it to everyone to take a look at them as they offer easy to grab crescents and count toward your next promotion and/or merit award ;)
