End of an Era - Knight Commander Tistito "Tisto" Kingang has stepped down.

It comes was a heavy heart that i must report to you that due to real life and mounting school work that Tisto has decided to step down as the Battle Team Leader of the Knight of Allusis effective today. I want to thank him for almost a year’s worth of hard work not only with the Battle team but helping Arcia and I create Solyiat.

It’s been a pleasure working with you and I’m happy to report he will be staying with the Knight under his new name of Vadin Cal. Thank you for everything!

As for the now vacant BTL position here is what Arcia and I will be looking for in the new Knight Commander.

What you should include in your Application

• A little bit about yourself. Leadership experience (DJB and RL), DJB projects and a general goals on how you want the Knights to fit into House Hoth and the Clan as a Whole. We would like a detailed list of ideas for the new direction for the battle team as it finds it’s way on our new planet Solyiat and it’s place within the House. A 30/60/90 plan is not required. You can include one but we recommend against such plans. We want the battle team to grow organically and change as the team members help direct where the team goes and not be locked into any rigid system.
• What makes you an ideal candidate? Why do you want this position? Are you a team player that will work with the summit to make the whole House better? Will you work with the Battle team members and make the team one that includes everyone?
• A minimum of three ideas on ways to generate activity in the battle team. Show me that you can plan and think. I want someone who takes initiative and get the team moving in a positive direction.

Desired Minimum Qualifications

• You must be active if you are awarded this position you will be required to be active. We do not want someone who holds a position just to hold a position. Participating in comps, creating comps and being an active voice in Telegram and Email will be required.
• Creative Thinker - Can you Help the House Summit develop and/or write future event plots and storylines?
• Strong Leadership Qualities - What is your leadership philosophy? How will you engage and inspire your team to be active.
• 24 hour email turn around time
• Basic familiarity with most or all DJB activity systems (SA, ACC, Gaming, etc.)
• A true desire to improve the enjoyment of this club for the members of the Battle team and the House in general.

Additional (not required, but good to have) qualifications:

• A historical understanding of who and what the Knight of Allusis are. This Battle Team has a storied history and is the pride of House Hoth.
  
• Have taken (and passed) the Leadership exams in the Shadow Academy
• Ideas to help maintain members as well has bring in new members.
• Telegram, Hangout or Teamspeak access
• Show me that you know how to have fun

Final Notes

There is NO minimum rank and NO previous Leadership experience requirements for this position. This position is open to ALL COU members! Applications from outside of Clan Odan-Urr will not be considered at this time.

What I’m really looking for is someone who is a team player who understands that the primary goal of leadership within this club is to ensure our members are enjoying themselves. I’m not looking for a subordinate, I’m looking for a solid leader who can bring fresh ideas to the House Summit, and who is willing to go the extra mile to help the members of the Battle team.
