A Message from the Consul

Hello again, darlings! I hope all of you are all managing to stay warm and safe, as Mother Nature continues to have her wicked way with us.

We have reached the midway point of the Deep Waters Rising event, and the competition is heating up! So far, we have Alaisy in first place, Qyreia in second and Zuza in third. Tali is close behind in fourth and Strong is in fifth place! But there are still a lot of competitions to do, so there’s still plenty of time to get into the running! Also, a big thank you to everyone who has participated in every competition so far! Y’all are rock stars!

Here’s hoping the temperatures begin to warm soon. And, in the meantime, take care of yourselves!

A Message from the Proconsul

Hey all, I hope this new year is going well for you. The weather hasn’t been too kind to us of late, but we shall push through and be stronger for it!

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has participated in the Clan Event! Your hard work and dedication to the Clan is worth everything to us as your summit. I hope you’ve enjoyed the storyline that we cooked up for you.

Good luck with the rest of your month and the start of March!

Fiction Update

“Well, that was exciting,” Aiden drawled as he surveyed the scene. The fighting had been harrowing at first. The cultists had attacked the museum under the cover of darkness. Only Aiden, Lucine and a few security guards had been present to defend against them. Professor Tav’ri had also been present, but he had been too busy cowering and whimpering about the threat of the Gods to be of much assistance in the fight. The Arconans had been supported with the arrival of allies. Kaled and Zig had been close by, fighting their own battles. They had arrived shortly after the fighting started in order to lend support. A few members of the DDF had also lent their support, carrying a small Ewok and supporting Zuza, who had an injured ankle. Qyreia had been the last to get to the museum, looking wet and bedraggled but no less ready for a fight. Reinforcements had also arrived for the cultists, in the form of six Caxquettes, not unlike what they had encountered on Atolli Island. They were led by a particularly large creature, with a skull-like head, six legs and a tail laden with spikes that glistened with ichor.

• Vampires? In Star Wars? Yes please! Write your favorite flavor of vampire story in Brotherhood in Blood: a Vampire Story.
• Draw a picture based off the song selection in The Pictures in the Sound - 17.

Ask Red and Gray

• Q asks: How many more events can we expect for this story arc? Is it dependent upon participation levels and/or character action at all?

  • Lucine: We have an overall story arc in mind that includes a number of Gods. The events of the story will be directly influenced by the actions of the characters within the course of the individual events. And yes, there are plans in the works to cut it short if it appears that people are not enjoying the overall story.
  • Aiden: While Lucine and I have planned a long term storyline for these characters, we would obviously not force it down the members throats if they had a negative reaction to the story.

• Zappius asks: What recent developments, if any, have your characters gone through in the SARLACC event?

  • Lucine: Lucine is using the SARLACC event to develop diplomatic ties with other clans. She has also learned one of the methods that large ape-like mammals use to taunt their opponents and that has left her… slightly disturbed.
  • Aiden: Aiden is tackling his mortality and his need to get stronger. Rein is being reminded of his past and what he’s run away from.
