Information on how SWTOR activities will be coordinated moving forward without the DJBTOR website, as well as how Pendants of Blood will be handled for Diablo 3 and a list of Club Firsts for Diablo 3 that can members can complete to earn a Pendant of Blood.
With the closure of the DJB's TOR website we've created a Google Calendar which will be used to show when we have TOR Operations or Activities planned to be run. To create a little more use out of this I'll also be adding certain Club Wide Events as well, if you open the link you'll see that the Fading Light Run On and March Gorefest are currently listed on the Calendar.
I've talked with James and Kalen a bit, as we move forward we may look at creating a sexy integrated Calendar for the DJB site that could include some pretty awesome things. However for now we're running off the Google Calendar for TOR, which seems like it will work just fine. Arch, Valkish, Cethgus, and I all have access to add events or modify it.
Keep an eye on the Google Calendar for Operations coming up. If you're interested in Operations make sure to email Valkish and Cethgus with your Character Name, Role, and Gear Rating so they can work out a time that people can be online together so these events can be scheduled!
We'll also be opening the TOR Discussion Forum in the Gaming area of our Forums again for anything folks would like to use it for.
Current Pendant of Blood awarding scheme for Diablo will remain in effect through 20Mar2014. After that the Pendant of Blood Wiki will change to the following for Diablo 3:
So, why did I stop it at 150? At that point a member will have earned 6 PoBs from leveling up their characters. A Preferred Access Account in SWTOR grants access to 6 character slots (potentially more if Cartel Coins are spent). It seemed like a decent number to call it at.
I've also created all of the Club First achievements related to the Diablo 3 Expansion. These award Pendants of Blood to the first person to complete them:
A bit lighter for March considering the Run On that's in progress. The first two competitions end on March 4th, get in there!
March 2014: Gorefest competition has been created! As a reminder, the requirement to be at GMRG II to participate in Gorefest has been removed. Any member of the GMRG can compete and earn bonus CFs for any Gaming activities!
