Greetings Dark Jedi Brotherhood!
Short report this month.
I made some updates to the Rites of Combat to codify that PvP announcements are not allowed during Great Jedi Wars or Rites of Supremacy. This was always the intention and was left out in error during the previous update.
I’ve also provided some really encouraging data points that indicate the SW:TOR guild experiment has really hit the ground running! On that topic, you still have until tomorrow to participate in the Star Wars: The Old Republic Guild Re-Launch Party series of competitions. Four of the six don’t even require you to play the game to participate.
When I made the updates to the RoC allowing PvP announcements the intention always was that this did not extend into Great Jedi Wars or Rites of Supremacy. This was not detailed in the RoC and I have made the appropriate changes to reflect this intention.
Section 2.2 updates:
d. Outside of a Great Jedi War or Rite of Supremacy, members are permitted to announce their intention to queue for 1v1 PvP or that they are currently queued for 1v1 PvP but only in the DB Gaming channel. Matches cannot be set up in any other chats or by PM.
e. During a Great Jedi War or Rite of Supremacy, Members shall not announce in chat that they are in queue for 1v1 PvP at any time.
Section 5.3 updates:
c. 1v1 PvP queue announcements are only allowed in the DB Gaming Channel and only outside of a Great Jedi War or Rite of Supremacy.
d. During a Great Jedi War or Rite of Supremacy, 1v1 PvP Queue announcements are banned at all times.
In my previous report, I detailed some plans to get our club’s Sith Empire guild back up and running on the Star Forge server. I am very happy to announce that we have made incredible progress! In an effort to entice more of our gamers back to SW:TOR and/or back to our DJB guild, here are some of what we have accomplished so far.
Since Fist Report 14.0 on 2/24 through 3/29:
The goals I’d like to accomplish in the next 30 days are:
If you are asking how you can help it is very simple, log into the game, be sure you are in the DJB guild and play the content you most enjoy! The best part about SW:TOR in its current form is that you don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to help the guild advance. Even leveling alts or working your way through a class story for the first time helps.
We’re on a roll here and we’d love for more of our fellow members to join us!

I like the clarification on the pvp announcing and Swtor is fun.
Good clarification there.
Awesome work on The Old Republic and looking forward to diving into more with it here soon.
Are we likely to see an update for Destiny 2 to include the new Battlegrounds mode or modifiers for the Nightfall activity? Happy to help the staff if screenshots are needed for clarification on the new modes, times to complete, etc would just like to be able to run modern activity with people in the game for rewards.
Great work as usual.
@Turel, there was some discussion in gaming chat about getting screenshots over for Destiny 2. So far none has surfaced yet. Do they have a timer on them? I need to also be sure I don't create a cluster faucet accident with a new mode.
Regarding Nightfall, we have a modifier for Strikes but I'm not sure if that is what you mean.
It is very difficult, and expensive, to stay up on every aspect of every game we support. My emails are always open though for those looking to assist with adding those types of modes.
