Applications are closed and soon there will be a new Fist. As much fun as serving on the DC is, it is time for someone new to lead our gaming community for a while.

I want to thank you for your patience and understanding during the end of GJWXII. I can tell you that a lot of lessons were learned on competition management and selection, and I am positive that the DC and next Fist will be taking those lessons to heart.

I want to thank the staff for their incredibly hard work during this transitional period. From the veteran staffers to the two new magistrates, these are the people who breathe life into the GMRG competitions and the community. I am very proud of everything they do and I know they will continue to do well for the next person to serve as Fist.

To the next Fist: Uphold the rules. Be fair and impartial. Drive activity. And above all, listen to the members.

To the rest of our club, remember that you are the driving force behind the gaming community. Games are added because you want them. You proved that with Apex and Dauntless. Tell the next Fist what you want to see. Ask about new competitions. Take a chance at a staff role when one opens up.

Keep inviting new people to game with you. Keep making gaming an INCLUSIVE activity.

And above all, keep having fun.
