Members of the Dark Brotherhood-
I have migrated PvP games into the new system. Big thanks to James for the quick turnaround in adjusting the code.
The following games have been fully migrated:
- Jedi Academy (1v1 and FFA matches)
- Hearthstone (1v1 Matches Only) - 1 CF per game
- Heroes of the Storm (1v1 Matches) - 2 CF per game
- Star Wars: Squadrons (1v1 Matches) - One CF per match. Matches played to 5 total kills.
Members will now submit screenshots instead of the old “queue with the bot” method for submitting matches. There are no more win/loss differences in CFs. All participants in a 1v1 or FFA will receive the same number of clusters.
Here are the platform specific requirements for each game:
Jedi Academy:
- All 1v1 matches will be played to a TOTAL of five points/kills. When submitting a screenshot, the total kills across both participants must add up to five. Of note: If you submit a screenshot that has more than five kills (let’s say 15 in this case), you will only receive the clusters for a single screenshot. Don’t let your efforts go to waste!
- All FFAs will be played until one person scores 20 points/kils. Screenshot must show that one person has earned 20 points.
- JA 1v1 Screenshots are worth 1 CF
- JA FFAs are worth 4 CFs with modifiers
- JA is capped at 50 CFs per day per policy
Hearthstone
- Hearthstone matches are defined as a single game. One screenshot per game.
- HS screenshots are worth 1 CF each
- HS is capped at 30 CFs per day per policy
Heroes of the Storm
- HotS 1v1 matches are defined as a single game. One screenshot per game.
- 1 Screenshot = 2 CFs
- HotS is capped at 30 CFs per day per policy
Star Wars: Squadrons
- All Squadrons 1v1 matches will be played to a total of 5 kills across both participants, similar to Jedi Academy 1v1. One screenshot per five kills.
- Squadrons screenshots are worth 2 CFs each.
- Squadrons is capped at 50 CFs per day as per policy
This change has been a long time coming. I hope that this will spark some life back into 1v1 games outside of big club-level events.
I am aware that there are more games and game modes that will support 1v1 matches. I will add them progressively over the next month.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me on Discord, email, or comment below.
Keep on gaming!
-Dracpool, out.
Such glorious simplified changes. Great job, Drac!
Love it. Especially everyone gets the same win or lose.
Hey Drac, any thoughts on OW 1v1? Or is the game in too much of a risky state current with OW2 incoming and the new MS buying of A-B?
Dek- it's one of the platforms that will move over the next month. But won't lie, I don't see much of a need to hurry up to move it since it never gets used for 1v1s. As for OW's state, i'm in wait and see mode.
