You may recall that in a previous report the Fist staff had to put out some supplemental rules for Cards Against Humanity matches being submitted to Casual Queue. Namely, that CAH screenshots were required to show a winner with at least 5 points.
While this rule change was necessary and worked for smaller games of CAH it became overly burdensome for games of 6 or more players with it taking almost an hour in some cases to reach the required score. Normally time is not something that is considered for casual queue, that's the difference between supported and unsupported games. But this is a special case and the issue, as such, is one created by a staff rule so the solution is to change the rule. A group of members submitted a detailed proposal for an adjusted rule that would be both 1) moderately fair to other cluster sources (for cluster races) and 2) verifiable by the staff.
After careful consideration by the staff and approval from the GM the rule for CAH submission to casual queue has been modified to:
Online versions of Cards Against Humanity can be submitted for casual gaming with the following restrictions:
Screenshots can be submitted every 10 hands; the total number of player hands must be visible in the screenshot and total up to a multiple of 10.
1 CE per screenshot of 10 hands. In other words you would take and submit a screenshot every ten hands.
Members who join games in progress should join at a 10 hand milestone; e.g. Members A, B and C are playing and member D asks to join on hand 7. Member D should join after the hand count reaches 10.
This rule change is on a trial basis and adjustments will be made if needed. If you have a question about the new rule please ask the Fist Staff for clarification. Special thanks to Nora, Tahiri, Bril, Sofila, Zosi'val'ria and Ellisyn for submitting the proposal.
