Helldivers 2 is Now A Supported Platform

Helldivers 2 has been added for official support. Screenshot guidelines can be found on the supported games wiki page.

Screenshots must be of the Mission Complete screen and show the difficulty of the mission.

Helldivers matches will be 3 Clusters of Fire plus difficulty and any applicable party size multipliers.

You may saying "but Turel this game just came out." Just to give some idea of how this game has taken our community by storm since release we have had 19 unique members submit Helldivers 2 matches to casual queue for 334 clusters of earth. Adopting new platforms is largely a data-driven decision (from casual queue submissions) with some judgment on the part of the Fist staff and GM/DGM. When weighing the factors for new platform adoption we carefully considered the game's cost and the fact it is not currently available on Xbox. However, the strong PVE gameplay loop, high replayability, emphasis on teamwork and developer's roadmap for rolling out new content through the ongoing community war map weighed in its favor. In full transparency I advocated for assuming some risk on the sustained interest factor to strike while the iron is hot rather than waiting to see if the game dies out.

I would like to make an important balance note in regards to Helldivers 2. The data we collected shows there are some mission types that have noticeably shorter times than others. The mission type is something we can't verify on a screenshot so we had to do our best to balance around average mission times. We will be monitoring submissions closely for the first few weeks and will make cluster balance adjustments if needed. I would say just play the game as you normally would and if you have the thought of trying to force certain mission types to maximize your cluster payouts just know I keep a nerf bat in my office.
