Admin Notes

Hello everyone! Here is the April Shower report. There is another leadership change as Socorra has decided to step down from Aedile. We thank her for her time and efforts to assist and lead with myself. She helped start the Battle Team that Kaled is now leading.

For those who may wonder if applications will be reopened for one to take the position, this will be on-hold and re-evaluated continuously for accepting applications. The main focus over the next few months will be the coming war, Clan event, and building the House with a coming event roughly at the end of May-July.

The coming event will be focused on the House re-settling back on Eldar as there will be a growth of cities, treaties, and relationships fictionally with the people already living on the planet.

Moving on to the Glory of Galeres Leaderboard here is the current and final Quarter 1 standings:

With the completion of this Quarter, Diyrian wins the Glory of Galares again. This was very close and especially much closer between Nicfer and Ryoma to change in their rankings. Socorra will be placed into the rankings come next Quarter due to her being in the Summit during Quarter 1.

That being said, there will be a slight change with the earnings and point worth of everything. The current point worth for everything is:

Reason behind the change is that I noticed that Clusters of Earth and Fire could easily change the rankings and make it near impossible for someone to catch up if someone managed to farm up over a quarter a large amount. Example would be I earned 148 Clusters of Earth and currently these are worth 0.25 a piece. 148 x 0.25 would equal out to 37 points. With the change, that will reduce it down to 3.7 which is far more reasonable and gives more wiggle room. Obviously as the quarters come, there will be more changes to make it much fairer. Many of the other changes were to allow some awards to be worth more than previously placed. Additionally, an added tie-breaker for the next quarter if it is to be involved is going to be based on most Competitions participated in. Note: Not the total competitions which include brackets. This will be the number without brackets.

*What's going on in Galeres planwise after the clan event? Moving day?

J: The plan is for Galeres to finally move into the Eldar settlement and make a dedicated city. To make the final movement as a new role for the planet due to civil unrest that continues.

*Could they use a couple more Mandos/a chaos duo?

J: We could always use some Mandos. Maybe get the citizens into shape. Heh

*As Galeres is one of the older houses in the club, having existed non-stop (not counting declanning under Muz) for at least 22 years and maybe longer...Should I look into it to see if we need to celebrate a 25th b-day for the house and when?

J: Hmmm. A celebration may be in order for our house to be that old. I didn’t realize that the house had been around that long.
