Hello all! We are at the end of the House Event for Ekkar and Ubaba. Here are some entries that were amazing and you will see them in the future for city building eyebrow wiggle.

From Diy:

“Nestled primarily on the hilly side of a river estuary that skirts the coast before opening into a cove, Ekkar has carved out itself a foundation. The homes are clearly newly erected and of modest design, spacious enough to encourage families of Eldar to come and settle, striving to bring in the working class of both native populations. Construction of new homes is ongoing. The neighborhoods are small, semi-orderly, and arranged in a half circle around the capital state buildings. These important buildings have been carefully inspired by the cultures of both Sardinians and Kaedeans with the approval of the advisors that have been working together on this project. Business involving the entire planet's government is conducted here, houses council meetings between the heads of state, and provides lodgings for any ambassadors or diplomats that may visit

To the south and looming above the small budding city, lays the Ubaba Intergalactic Spaceport on a large plateau. Pathways and roads have been constructed to bring goods and travelers to and from the port and city. Construction had been started to install lifts, the skeleton structures of such promising a finished project in a couple of years. Multiple docks line the edges of the plateau, providing space for larger vessels to dock, while smaller ones park on the terrace itself. Half the port is dedicated to cargo transport machinery and storage, and there is a main headquarters maintaining the port operations and order twenty-four-seven.

To the west of Ekkar, bridges cross the river and into the marshy tidal pool-littered landscape of the Fhem Jar Saltmarsh. Simple huts are strewn across the marsh, made by folks attracted to the city with curiosity but don’t have the socioeconomic means or are wary of living fully within the walls. These people carve out a living from the marshes, often bringing fresh fish to market.”
