Hello all! As discussed in the last report, we have a new artifact that will be earned every quarter (3 months) based on activity. The Glory of Galeres is the new artifact that you, if earning enough to claim the 1st place each quarter, will be bestowed as a temporary use for that quarter.

The Glory of Galeres is a sword crafted combining items and materials of great symbolic value to its namesake House. The hilt holds a ruby red gem to signify the heart of all Galeres, while the blade itself is made from an alloy of metals found both on Eldar and Selen, both of which serve as past, present, and future homes to the House. The crystalline mass along the spine of the blade is a neutralized remnant of the crystals left behind in the attack on Fort Blindshot: a symbol of Galeres' spirit to fight Arcona's enemies against all odds and emerge victorious. The result is a sword as ornamental as its fine cutting edge, relying on the wielder's ability and strength over cliche technology like vibro-weapons. It is awarded on a rotating basis to members of House Galeres that distinguish themselves through actions and service to the House.

Each quarter of the year divided into the 3 months will be a leaderboard finalized to award this blade to a member who has shown the most amptitude and fierceness in competition. Each period begins on the first month on the first day and ends on the first day of the next month leading into the next quarter as the cut-off such as Jan 1st to Apr 1st is Quarter 1. Q1: Jan, Feb, Mar Q2: Apr, May, Jun Q3: Jul, Aug, Sep Q4: Oct, Nov, Dec

Within each quarter, all of a member's activity will be weighted to a final tally. This is provided below for transparency.

Crescent Diamond: 1
Crescent Ruby: 1
Crescent Amethyst: 0.75
Crescent Sapphire: 0.75
Crescent Emerald: 0.5
Crescent Topaz: 0.5
Crescent Quartz: 0.25
Clusters Fire: 0.25
Clusters Ice: 0.25
Clusters Earth: 0.25

MISC Awards: 1
Wiki Work: 1
House Work: 1

Every Crescent, Cluster, or individual item will be multiplied by the value assigned to the category. Meaning if one earns 5 Clusters of Earth, then one will earn 1.25 points in total. MISC Awards will be any awards that are not the standard Crescents and Clusters, i.e. merit and sacramentals. Wiki and House work are going to be focused around the House overall but the Wiki Work may be items outside of the House as long as it is benefitting to the overall Club i.e. assisting in updating a wikipedia page about a policy for an office (HRLD, FIST, VOICE, etc). House Work is work that is not Wiki Work but specifically to assisting the House. This could be arranging for gaming sessions, RP sessions for the house, something that you are able to present as significant work and helps the house overall. Additionally, leadership in the leaderboards will take a disadvantage in terms of being awarded the Glory of Galeres. This is meant to help highlight members achievements. Disadvantage means that if a member of House leadership/summit is calculated to have won the weapon for the quarter, it will automatically go to the next member who is not in leadership.

All of this being said, the last quarter (3rd) has been calculated with the assigned numbers in mind. After using said scale and going through each person's activity from Jul 1st to Nov 1st as cut-off, I present the first name to be bestowed the Glory Of Galeres.
