Information on Battlefront's success in earning awards from E3, another update on the Cluster of Earth Project, DB Star Conflict Dreadnaught finishes the first phase of construction, and 2nd Quarter 2015 GMRG winners are announced. Also included are Telegram join links for DB Chat and DJB Gamer's Lounge!
The DB has been utilizing the mobile chat program to (mostly) great effect lately. We've added a chat channel to it specifically for our Club's Gamers to talk about... well gaming and grouping up for gaming. However, this channel does not replace #DBGaming in IRC. Challenges issued must be issued in IRC for a match to be valid.
How do you join them? Easy actually, just click the link listed below from a device that is actively running your Telegram Account. I've included the main DB Chat link as well. These links will be added to the Useful Gaming Links section at the bottom of all my Updates in the future.
And as you venture into the realm of Telegram, be sure to read the Grand Master's recent News Post about how to conduct yourself in it.
A few weeks ago we got a blast of new information about Star Wars Battlefront during E3. And then the game went on to clean up multiple Game of the Show and FPS of the Show awards. For a full listing of the 26 nominations and 37 awards its earned so far, check on Battlefront's own website.
On the off chance someone here hasn't seen the E3 videos for Battlefront yet, please refer to these links:
IGN has put together a nice summary of the nominees for the Game Critics Awards, which you can view on this article: IGN - Star Wars Battlefront Leads Game Critics Awards Best of E3 Nominees. I've found it to be a nice read to give me an idea which games I'd like to consider picking up in the near future.
In a by platform breakdown, included in that article, the nominees are as follows:
Back in May I reported on a project to add a PVE Gaming Medal. Since that time we've been able to make significant progress on the project. I'll outline the changes that are already in place, but first a short summary of which activity applies to which Medal:
GMRG Advancement and Quarterly Results will be based on the following formula. Clusters of Earth + (2 x Clusters of Fire). This was chosen to place emphasis on the PVP portion of gaming, due to the match limitations per day it should assist in leveling the advancement between these two activities. While we have high hopes for this, we will be re-evaluating it following this quarter to ensure it is functioning as intended.
Member vs Others group size bonus was agreed upon and has been implemented on the Gaming Submission pages.
Other items which have been completed:
The project is fully implemented and nearly complete. Next I'll be turning to the Wiki to ensure that the appropriate gaming pages are updated over the next month.
Construction of the Dreadnaught's Dock has been completed! The next step in bringing forward this weapon of war for the Dark Brotherhood's Corporation is to begin work on Installation of a Warp Accelerator. This is no cheap piece of equipment though, it costs 15,000 Iridium to complete it. Get to your ships pilots, there be iridium to be found.
A few days ago the second quarter of GMRG completed. Choices have been made by those who reached the top 9 spots, with a strong showing by both Clan Arcona and Clan Taldryan. Please congratulate this quarter's Fourth Echelon of the Grand Master's Royal Guard!

On 15May2015 I included in a report that Call of Duty and Team Fortress were on the Near Retirement chopping block. Its been over a month since that time and no matches have been played on them, so have been dropped off the Tier 2 Gaming Platforms list
This month's Gorefests will be run on the following dates: * Friday 17Jul2015 - Sunday 19Jul2015
Starting 22Mar2015 the Weekly PoB has been awarded for matches from Sunday to Friday. A second PoB will be awarded for Saturday matches, consider this a "Gaming Day". Time will be based on GMT just like competitions, so Friday at 7pm EST the "Gaming Day" will begin and conclude at 7pm EST Saturday. Following completion of the Gaming Nights project this may change back to a Sunday-Saturday one per week reward. The wiki has not been updated with this new schedule for that reason.
And now, some Crescents for gamers:

Bubba's in good hands, if you know what I mean.
Great update, Val!
Great update. So excited for Battlefront.
Simply cannot wait for Battlefront, I wanna trip an AT-AT up again!
Forgot to ask this question. I've had a few folks request we make unique channels specifically for some of the platforms we have. Like TOR, Star Conflict, Diablo 3, Destiny, and (when it comes out) Battlefront.
Is this something you would like? Is that too many channels to bother dealing with? If you played one of those games a lot would you use the channel to find groups or talk about the latest strategies/builds?
Awesome report!

New star wars ccg comp running July 8th through August 8. Running it longer than last time. Had people show interest I wanna try and garner more interest this time.
Hey when I checked the Dark Sage degree info in the Shadow Academy, I got a 404 error. I assume I am not the only one? But on another note, love the report. Glad to see what we are looking forward too, and for keeping us all in the loop.
Nevermind, its working now. Just wanted to check out the adjustments made in lieu of the changes to the values of CFs/CEs.
FYI: Diablo Season 4 is NOT on PTR yet. PTR is still rolling Season three. They will roll to season 4 before the patch leaves PTR according to what we've seen on the PTR forums.

True, some Season 4 items aren't on the PTR yet, but the massive amount of ability/game changes and new Kanai's cube are.
I guess I don't have to worry about my guard trying to assassinate me. He could just fire me instead. :P
I assume this was done to encourage larger groups to game together? If that's the case, might it be worth exploring something similar with PvE game platforms to encourage members to game together in larger groups (TOR Operations comes to mind)?
Mav. You gonna die. </delayed>
