Pathfinders,

Welcome to my first report as your new Battleteam Leader! In this report, we will do a quick introduction, discuss recent changes to Garza's Pathfinders, and how you can be part of our active culture!

About Me:

I'm 26, born in Israel and currently studying Computer Game Design in the Open University. I currently moonlight as a technician in a mobile phone lab, and i'm learning the ropes there as I go. (I practice my Google-Fu every day!) I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars universe ever since I can remember myself, and I've played and belonged to Star Wars games and clubs for a long time now.

I'd like to apologize for the lateness of this report. I'm currently going through some difficult times in my life, with some insane family drama, work, university and just regular day to day draining my energy and causing me to neglect my duties. I'm sincerely sorry for the delay and I vow to do better in the future.

I'd like to advocate a simple mission statement in Garza's Pathfinders: do what you find fun! I want you drawn to activities and competitions that will help you charge your batteries, give you energy, and make you excited to come back the next day. Pursue that which charges you, avoid that which drains you. However, this is not a justification to do nothing. Being a member of my Battle Team means you have sworn an oath to support your fellow members, and of course - always support the Clan. Find one or two things you can do each month to participate in. While the competition may not be everything you want, it will help drive the unit’s participation, assist in upgrading the Crescent level for the competitions top placements, and give the event organizer a boost in confidence (that they very likely will return when you run an event of your own).

Join the fight today! Talk to me about fun competitions you can run for Garza's Pathfinders. Talk to your QUA & AED about interesting competitions for the House and Clan. And always strive to build something special for the Brotherhood; sometimes a singular event, sometimes massive events. I want you to leave your mark on this place, because it is as much yours as it is mine.

Departures and Arrivals

Sadly, Xantros succumbed to his Imperial leanings and left us for the Empire that is Clan Scholae Palatinae, Zeon Blacktooth has left us due to inactivity. And last but not least, Len Eode our previous Commander has left us for bigger and better things, and is now the Aedile of our House!

Garzas Wiki Spotlight

Starting from now, i'd like to start highlighting each month a different wiki article that is relevant to our Battleteam. This month, i'd like you all to explore and see the main Shan Base wiki page! Here you will be able to find all the pertinent information about the base, whether it's our current story-line or our fictional structure and organization. We are always looking for help with the BT's wiki articles, and we'd absolutely love it if you guys could chime in and help out a little in any way you think you can! And if you aren't sure what you can do, don't hesitate to send me an email (or PM in Telegram) and I will be most happy to help you out in any way we can!

Greetings all, and thank you all to those who made it all the way here ;) I'd like to close this report with a few thoughts and ideas that I wanted to share.

Sometimes it seems that no matter what you do, you just never seem to get those awards. You never seem to get those promotions and you just always seem to get overlooked - especially since there’s that special person or two who seem to rocket to the stars and leave everyone behind in the dust. I just want to say that I believe that each of you can be that person - being “good” or being “star material” is simply something that each of you can do if you just put in the effort. That’s all there is to say. The more you do, the more time you put into this Club - the higher you will rise. It’s that simple truth. There’s no special magic involved, there’s no special talent involved - it’s just the simple fact of participation and effort. The more you write - the better you will get. The more you draw, the better you will get, the more you game, the better you get.

So if you want to do more, if you want to be more! Believe in yourself, I hereby give you this license to DO ALL THE THINGS!!!
