Rear Courtyard
The Fortress of the Unchained
The Ethereal Realm

They are behind you.
A simple, easy prod in the mind, easy even on Alaris’ worst day. But here in the Ethereal Realm, close to the Chain of the Force, he felt like he was nearly crushing the minds of the soldiers he implanted the thought into.
Instantly, they turned and opened fire, mowing down the reinforcements who were running up behind them. By the time the soldiers realized they had killed their own men, Alaris’ lightsaber was already upon them. The ground shook, and the Twi’lek glanced up at the massive chain. Small chunks of ghostly metal fell to the ground.
“Now is not the time to sightsee.” Selika stepped out of an alcove into the courtyard. The Dread Lord casually waved her hand, sending a chunk of crystal from the fortress walls straight at yet another group of soldiers. As it flew, it broke apart, honed into hundreds of tiny sharp arrowheads before sinking deep into flesh.
“They just keep coming to the slaughter,” Alaris said. There was a crashing noise above them, followed by several bodies hitting the ground around them. The Plagueians scrambled to avoid the rain of eviscerated corpses.
A heartbeat later, an Epicanthix woman alighted gracefully amidst the broken Children she had sent out the window before her, then stood tall.
“That was exciting,” Cassandra said, taking in her surroundings. A deep guttural growl came in response. The trio turned slowly towards the noise as a crystalline rancor lumbered into the courtyard, the Seer gazing down at them from a saddle on its back.
