BTL?

In case you haven't read Lucifer's last report, he had to setep down due to RL issues. As unfortunate as the circumstances, RL does come before the DB. In email and in PM, Lucifer nominated me as his choice to step up as BTL, which I accepted.

Thank you Lucifer.

The dedication it takes for a BTL to continue working with and for his team can be immense. The competitions he's organized, the events he's participated in, the reports, the award tracking, all of it requires time and effort put into the team. While being a BTL is not a completely thankless job, the job is done without thinking of the rewards. Lucifer's efforts recently netted him a Steel Cross, but even so, I think we all owe Lucifer a thank you for his work. So,

House work.

Many of you are likely curious about the status of the House proposal. I'm currently waiting on more feedback about the foundational fiction, but the proposal itself is on pause, likely until the end of the year due to various things ranging from RL work (nothing extreme but still work) to ongoing DB events that could also conveniently help) At that point, myself and others will work to make this dream a reality.

See above. My overall rating of the current progress is that it is going well.

What are the BTS and BTL doing for Christmas?

Okay, this was ask the BTS before now, but my plans are pretty much staying home and doing whatever.

What's GW's fiction like now?

With the House proposal in the works, where GW fiction is at will be determined when we are done figuring that out. I actually plan to create a side project that might help with this.

New BTS

As most of you know, before today, I was the BTS. However, with Lucifer stepping down and me stepping up, a new BTS had to be appointed. Most of you will know who he is. A founding member of our team, he served as Grey Wolf's first BTL for almost a year before Lucifer took the position, during which time the team found extreme success, even becoming on of the biggest teams in the DB for awhile. Closing remarks

Its an honor to have this position, and an honor to have the people at my side supporting me. However, our work is not yet done. When I started about a year and a half ago, I wouldn't have believed that in 6 months, I'd become BTL. I didn't think that I would be BTL in a year and a half. I was nervous about taking the BTS position. This team, the one that I've been with since my first day, since its first day, has had it's ups and downs. Its had difficulties, but its always worked through them. I am proud of what this team's accomplishments shed so far, and look forward to what this team will accomplish in the future. For now, all I can say is

Quick communication note.

Those of you who read my first BTS report are aware that I am still in high school. This week, my availiblity will be normal. However, next week is finals week so I may be a little slower than normal getting back to you on any communications you send me.
