Ladies and gentlemen,
We’ve not got any subtitles this time, mostly because this is going to be a fairly uneventful one. Given what time of year it is for those in here, I imagine that’s a relief. So, we’ll be breaking down activity levels since the last report, and covering a few things in the weeks to come.
Oh, and we have Batman gifs this month, for obvious reasons. It was either this or Die Hard, and that’s more of a December thing.
So, you might recall from last time we issued a feedback form for the joint House event, and a few of you opted to give answers. It’s definitely helped to highlight a few areas of improvement, and a number of fixes for next time in regards to keeping you up to date. Most of it was cut and dry, but it seemed best to offer thanks.
Without going into too many specifics, the big area you made it clear we need to improve on was reminders and updates, so we’ll definitely offer a wealth more for next time.
We’ll also definitely keep giving similar forms at the end of each one so if you liked it or (more importantly) seriously had issues with how things were handled, you can be given a chance to respond. But even if you don’t, e-mailing us or communicating via Discord with any concerns at all will always remain an option.
Since it’s been a couple of months and we’ve had a few events, so we’ve got a wealth of activity to cover from our members. Give us a minute.
Definitely a good turnout for the past two months, and activities we'll be taking on board with the upcoming awards.
Well, if you lot are still looking for things to sink your teeth into, there’s a few major competitions that have been organised and are being run right now. Here are the big ones:
Across a multitude of competitions ranging from fictions and media, have your characters step into the Star Wars version of WWE. Choke slam at will.
Several fiction competitions built upon character building questions, from situations to general themes. Well worth it for character building and experimentation.
Create the most complex riddle you can think of.
You know the drill, rush for as many TOR clusters as you can before the month is up. We run events on weekends if you need people to join up with.
So that more or less wraps up this month. There’s not much I can say on upcoming events - December’s chaotic enough without a Clan storyline jammed down their throat, after all - and we’ll be wrapping up the House storyline early next year before moving onto more episodic events again.
However, even with the above, I am going to be pushing a few weeks to month-long running competitions for people to still get to grips with. Expect quite a few gaming and a handful of art-focused outlets, with plenty of time to respond, jump in and think things over.
And, if there’s anything specific you’d like to see, feel free to message me over Discord or via e-mail about any ideas.
