The Left Wing of Dread Sends

Welcome to March, everyone! Time for the rain and snow to cease, and the grass, flowers, and pollen to return! Spring generally means a time of change, and here in Plagueis, the winds of change are blowing once more.

That’s right everyone, this is it. My last report as Quaestor of House Ajunta Pall. I have had the fortunate opportunity to serve in some form of direct-level leadership position for the past year, from Battle Team Leader to Aedile and finally to Quaestor of this awesome unit! During that time, I have come to truly admire this club and its members, especially the intrepid members of this House. You are all an amazing group of people, and I consider you all friends.

I leave you in the capable hands of Kalon, who came to us not long ago as Battle Team Leader of the Disciples of Dreypa. I think I speak for all of House Ajunta Pall when I say welcome back, and best of luck as you take on your new role.

Position Open: BTL for the Disciples of Dreypa

Applications are still open for this position. Kalon will have final choice on who gets the position, and I’ve already forwarded the apps I have to him. Right now, there are three applications in. I truly hope more of you will take a shot at this position. This is a great way to get some experience in leadership within the club. So get those apps in! As a reminder, here is what I was looking for. I assume Kalon will want some of the same stuff. Also, rank requirement is eliminated! So everyone can apply!

What you should include in your Application

• A little bit about yourself. Personality is key as this is a social club. I have to know that you're going to get along with the team.
• What makes you an ideal candidate? Why do you want this position?
• A minimum of three ideas on ways to generate activity in the battle team. Show me that you can plan and think. I want someone who takes initiative, not someone who holds a position just to hold a position.

Desired Qualifications

In terms of qualifications, here’s what I’m looking for at a minimum:

• 24 hour email turn around time
• A true desire to improve the enjoyment of this club for the members of the House

Additional (not required, but good to have) qualifications:

• Have taken (and passed) the Leadership exams in the Shadow Academy
• 12 hour email turn around time
• Telegram & Skype/Google Hangout access
• Prior leadership experience at BTL or higher
• Basic familiarity with most or all DJB activity systems (SA, ACC, Gaming, etc.)
• Show me that you know how to have fun

What I’m really looking for is someone who is a team player who understands that the primary goal of leadership within this club is to ensure our members are enjoying themselves. I’m not looking for a subordinate, I’m looking for a solid leader who can bring fresh ideas to the House Summit, and who is willing to go the extra mile to help the members of the Battle team.

GM: Day of the Jac - Day of the Jac! People got awards!

Combat Master Report Grand Master’s Invitational is now over! Wally made a report. Go read it and read the epic battles that our own Selika Roh di Plagia took part in. Slags represented Clan Plagueis extremely well, and we are all super proud of him! Did I mention he’s a former QUA for HAP? Yeah.

Final Thoughts

So there it is. My final report as the Left Wing of Dread. It’s hard to believe it’s only been six months. I’d have happily done another sixty, but the Summit has asked me to serve in a different capacity, and so that’s what I’ll do. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your Quaestor, and hopefully I don’t muck things up too much as Rollmaster.
