Welcome, folks, to the first edition of my House Ajunta Pall Quaestor Report! We're going to cover the usual, such as recent shinies and promotions for our esteemed members, competitions and events of note, and other cool content currently circulating the Brotherhood. I'm also going to answer a few questions posed by members of the Clan, and finish off with a short piece for the Equites. Specifically, I am going to talk recruitment.
But before I begin, for those who may not know who I am or why I'm here, I'm Laren! I was most recently the Aedile for Karness Muur, I've been writing longer than I've played rugby, and I like to have a good time.
And so, without further ado…
And now, a gif transition brought to you by the punniest man on Earth…
So a lot of big changes have been going on over the past couple weeks. Just recently, we had our own staff change and there have been a lot of other developments throughout the Brotherhood. So, below is a list of news reports to keep your eyes on:
Take a gander at these reports, folks. The juicy information found inside is both enlightening and helpful.
At any given time, there are tonnes of great competitions being run throughout the Brotherhood. Sometimes, our very own run competitions just for us, as well. Here is (yet another) list of competitions you should definitely check out!
There are so any more competitions out there created by the wonderful folks here in the DJB. Go and check them all out here.
Once again I asked. Once again, you provided me some questions. Let's see some highlights from #AsktheMerc:
How about mine?
First proceed to the House Ajunta Pall Orderly Room. There, our specially trained clerks will attempt to walk you through the expense claims process that even they don't really understand. After you sign a few forms and give an arm and a leg, it might just work out.
Until then, a bottle of vino makes me pretty generous.
Just about the same as yesterday. Still surrounded by awesome people, cresting awesome content and just generally being awesome.
Earlier, a member of Ajunta Pall answered your question. Furios said, “Blair, I think that your last question boils down to what you want to spend your skill points on. I would only do multiple arts/forms if I had extra points and was otherwise happy with my character. What you do is entirely up to you.”
I actually wanted to expand on this a bit. With the way the Character Sheet system is organized, you really want to determine your character’s strengths and weaknesses. Do they need multiple martial arts or weapons forms? Perhaps they rely more on brains than brawn? Determine what your character needs to conform to your visualization, and from that choose your attributes carefully.
Once your journey to knighthood is complete, the next step is to strive to move.through the Equite ranks. You've been around the bend and know how things work, and you've probably been involved with groups like this for as long as you have been able to use the Internet. At least, I know I have been.
For this edition short edition of For the Equites, I want to touch on…
drum roll...
Recruitment, especially in reference to our Consul’s latest report, is important. That big word that means the world to an organization like the Brotherhood. The membership is the driving force behind everything we do, and we always want more folks. And though the leadership is always recruiting in some form, you can do so too!
Recruit by word of mouth, people you know that would join the Brotherhood and have a good time, or whatever other means that is at your disposal. But never be shy to recruit someone.
The first of many Quaestor reports to come. But now, time to enjoy the weekend.
