Welcome to another HGC Aedile report!!

There have been some changes since my last report, important changes, and big recognition.

Stirrings In The Brotherhood

First and foremost, many of you may have noticed that you've received society elevations recently. Our FIST Dracaryis and HM Ciara + staff, have made some big changes that may have affected your rankings in regards to gaming and the Shadow Academy. I suggest reading their reports -

Idris has also been a busy beaver as he has released the Shadows Unveiled Prelude, and his latest Voice Report which includes some important updates.

Clan and House Updates

As some of you may have noticed, Kah has unfortunately resigned as Quaestor of HGC. Sometimes RL and DB work can become too much to juggle and we're forced to step away until things normalize. I would like to thank him for all of the work he did as Quaestor and hope to see him back soon, refreshed and ready to go.

However, this left the position of Quaestor open for applications. If you're interested in the position and would like to help build this House up, Revak and Turel are accepting applications until the 19th of January. Further details can be found in Revak's Consul Report.

With that said, moving forward. I have started Operation: Get This Freight Train Rolling, I have some unique ideas ready to go (just waiting on the stamp of approval) and I have started with a few competitions that will create a foundation for future storylines and lore development.

To start, I aim to build alliances throughout our system and the galaxy. My first step in this outreach mission is on Kaerls where I hope to build a friendship with the Mandalorian Okami Clan

I would also like to build up the Od'enn Training Facility which will be our base of operations and I am eager to start working on our fleet (Possessions, military branches, and tie-ins to the Odanite Expeditionary Force)

To correlate with these goals, I created three competitions that I would like to see bring in some great submissions.

• The Alliance
• Od'enn Training Facility
• Through Combat We Defend What Is Ours

Recently I reached out to all of you and asked what you would like to do as a House. The general consensus was, to paraphrase 'do Guardian things.' Which is excellent, because that's just what I had in mind.

In the coming months I would like to run my monthly competiton idea (pending approval), some co-op missions that will allow us to get our characters working together, and I would like to open some forum RP threads. Now, I know many of you are thinking. "But no one uses the forum." well, that's the point. It's an underutilized resource. COU has been running RP events on discord, which are great, but some of our members haven't been participating because of time constraints. I hope to alleviate this issue by running RP threads that will help bring some fictional meat to our current barebones state. I also like the idea of thoughtful posts and being able to have 'place-holder' status where members aren't hurriedly posting over one another. Call me old-fashioned. Don't forget that there is an app for DB discourse where you can access it via mobile.

I would like to get some of these ideas rolling before I start my recruitment drive. I expect the forum threads to be a huge hit for the people I typically recruit from RP groups that use similar message boards. I may even open an unofficial 'Storyteller' position where this specific member can work to maintain threads and drive storylines or create topics (stay tuned for this)

Recognition

• I would like to openly congratulate Aurora Ta'var - known by many as Aura or Blade, on her recent elevation to Adept! welcome the legacy of the Doge! - in addition, Blade has brought in 6 Clusters of Graphite, a Crescent with Ruby Star for getting 1st place in Scimitar of Lord Hoth, a Crescent with Sapphire Star, a Crescent with Amethyst Star!

• Our PCON Turel aka: Luna Okami has also been elevated to Elder 1. Turel has been a solid leader and member of the Brotherhood for many years now and also really deserved this promotion.

• Our CON Revak K'Urr has been awarded a Sapphire Blade for being an awesome leader and a pillar of our Clan. Well done!!

• Xeno Camber has been promoted to Knight and earned a Dark Cross!

• Jafits Skrumm, the beast that he is, has earned 57 Clusters of Fire, 44 Clusters of Earth, a Crescent with Amethyst Star x3, a Crescent with Sapphire Star, a Crescent with Ruby Star x2, a Crescent with Diamond Star!

• Strong-man Ryan Hawkins has earned a Crescent with Amethyst Star x2 and Pendant of Blood x2!

• Uncle Raz has earned 6 Clusters of Graphite, a Crescent with Sapphire Star, a Crescent with Amethyst Star (Razzle Dazzle)

• Our blue tactical genius Len Iode has earned 12 Clusters of Fire!

• Gui Sol has earned 12 Clusters of Graphite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Truthfully guys and gals, I love seeing this level of activity and can't wait to see more awards being handed out to Guardian Corps members. We have a roster of great people and I can't wait to see what we can put on the scoreboard for next month.

Buckle up, Guardian Corps, I've been brainstorming and thinking about immediate growth and long term goals. Great things are on the horizon for us as a House. All I ask is that you all enjoy yourselves and give these ideas a chance, I think many of you will appreciate these changes. I don't want anyone getting bored in HGC. I intend to have a consistent flow of activities for you all to enjoy.
