Herald Report: School’s Out Forever
(for some of us, anyway)
News
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! This will be a short report as the last wasn’t too long ago. As mentioned in the GM address, I am retiring from Herald. It’s been a good run, I’ve enjoyed it, and my staff has been wonderful to work with. It’s a good time to be in the Brotherhood, with so much to look forward to in the club and in a new Star Wars universe, so I don’t anticipate going anywhere.
Rally the Bannermen!
Warbanner 2.0 is largely a success, as evidenced by the massive amount of requests that can be seen in last report and spillover in this one. I want to thank everyone for their patience, it really was an unprecedented amount. I’m glad to see the side ribbons and new shapes and textures go over well!
The Pixels You’re Looking For
I'm announcing the long awaited awards for the top three Clans of the last Great Jedi War, completed by the most awesome V'yr!
Perseverance robes (Arcona)
First is Arcona who get both the robes and the saber, so without further ado, here are the Perseverance robes and the Honor lightsaber.

Game of Thrones style robes, awesome
I want to thank Socks for her service as Herald, and not just because of the quality of work her office generated under her stewardship (btw, best reward robes in the history of ever!). More than anyone else in recent memory, Socorra presided over the Herald's office to produce one of the largest expansions of "cool stuff" for the membership in a long time. Expanding warbanner options, formalizing a request system for report header graphics to make sure that everyone has pretty things, and the arrival of the long talked about Crusade ribbons (Though, on the time scale of long term DJB projects, this one was speedy :D). There's little doubt that Socks has been one of the most consequential Heralds to ever hold the office. Great work, and thank you Socks!
You already know I appreciate everything you've done, Socks. And you know because I told you so many times over, so I'll do it once again in case you forget (like you tend to with details :P). Thanks for your contributions to the Club and for mentoring me in becoming something more than an artist. Thanks for your many kind words and critiques and your patience when RL took a turn for the worst, but most of all thanks for being a friend. Now it's time to chillax cuz I'm still gonna call on you when I need advice, and you know how that turns out. :P Cheers! :D

Thank you, Socks. You did a terrific job keeping the Herald staff occupied and organized. You were tasked with a difficult job - but you rose to the challenge and exceeded everyone's expectations. We, as a community, are all richer for your contributions to it.
