Welcome back boys and girls to your favorite dark Aedile corner. It’s me, your fun Togruta neighbor. Back for another month, and what a big one this has been. We had a great time with our last even, Aftermath, and we’re very proud of you all for working so hard to get in those submissions. Results should be, as far as I’m told, #soon. So as we take a turn into the Holiday season here, let’s have some fun, wind down a little bit, still do a few things and just have a great time. As a quick note, I'd like to welcome those who have rejoined us here in Karness Muur since my last report: Welcome back to Arturis, and Kodais.

Awards, Promotions, and Recognitions

So again as last month, we’re waiting for the results for the Aftermath event, #soon, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my next report will have tons of awards to report on. Always proud of you guys, keep up the good work.

Fiction

I have a great Quaestor to work with in our good friend, Arden, and as we’re getting finished with our new Karness Muur base, he wanted to share a little bit of teaser fiction with you all.

The Pinnacle Rooftop Overlook

The metallic clang of a datapad broke Arden from his meditative trance on the roof of the Pinnacle. He immediately shot a glare over his shoulder to see who had dropped it. Noting a familiar skin pattern on the part of the body he could see, Arden sighed.

"I thought we went over not bothering me when I'm up here Abadeer."

"Sorry sir," the Torguta replied. "But this was something you had to see before anyone else did. The scouts have found a promising lead on a potential base of operations."

"You better not have found some CIS amusement park or something," Arden quipped as he picked up the datapad. "I'm looking for a fortifiable structure."

Abadeer gulped a moment sensing Arden's irritation. "This should do then sir. We spotted it along the coast. Very defensible, nice view, all your specifications."

Arden nodded as he listened and flipped through the recon images. He stared long and hard at a few of them as well as the preliminary ground survey. After a few moments he stood up and spun to face Abadeer.

"Prepare my shuttle, I want to see this now."

Some Things to Do

So we’re all taking a little break after the Aftermath, and that’s totally cool, but don’t forget that there are still tons of things to do, lots of things to try. Arden has come up with a great competition just for us, based off of one of my favorite RL games.

Closing Remarks

Happy Veteran’s Day first of all, and second, I love you guys. I can’t express enough how thankful I am to be able to serve in this position for as long as I have. We have a great summit who thinks about you guys, and works hard for you. Anyway, I hope you’re all enjoying the fall weather, stay safe, don’t get sick (unlike me), and have fun. Oh, and eat bacon and eggs.
