Introduction - Happy Birthday COU

First of all I wish to say Happy Birthday to Clan Odan Urr and I hope everyone is enjoying the Anniversary Event - that Seraphol has put together for us. I’m enjoying the Clan Run On and i hope to see many more posts before it’s done. This is a great time to be in COU with the new system and planets we have such a bright future ahead of us. So please get involved, have fun and don’t forget the entire summit loves and begs for your ideas to make the Clan even better!

Also as per Mar Sul’s newest report go nominate a CLan Member for the next round of Clan Title voting. You can do so by using this NOMINATION FORM

The biggest news was the unfortunate stepping down of Tistito "Tisto" Kingang from leading the Knights of Allusis BT. I know this wasn’t a easy decision or news to hear but i do admire anyone that knows when real life become too much for them. I wasn’t happy to see this happen but I am inspired but his honesty and maturity level to realize that this was the best for the team.

So this leaves us with the BTL position to fill and applications are being accepted from COU members only to the end of November 19, 2016. I urge any active Clan member to apply this is a great opportunity to advance your DJB career and get a taste of leadership. So please review My News post for all the deatials on what we are looking for.

Next week starts the Holiday Season (here in the USA anyway) and I’m hard at work on this years installment of the Life Day Celebration. I hope to have details to Turel and Mar early next week with a full announcement before Thanksgiving.

• Len Eode asked: What are you looking for from an applicant for BTL?

  All I can say is look at My News post for all the deatials on what we are looking for.

• Scarlet Asked: What do you see the in coming new year for Hoth?

  Well 2017 will be interesting, with a new BTL in place we hope to plan and run not only a BT Event but a full fledged House event. This will finally take our story to the next level. Currently we are working on the who, what, where and how for these events. Also we hope to have a full calendar of events that will see plenty of things to do for the member of Hoth in 2017.

• Mar Sul asked: Has possessions given you any ideas for character progression or do you already have a set path for Edgar to take? (fictionally, of course.)

  To be honest I haven’t completely gone through all the possessions but yes the purchase of a personal ship has given me a few ideas to help flesh out my back story. I also hope that i can find a couple of more items that i can not only flesh Edgar out more but maybe more fiction directions I can take him. So we shall see but the ship (once i decide on which one) will be a big piece of the puzzle.

• Len Eode Asked a 2 parter: As a major gamer in the Clan, what do you think of the new GMRG Ranking system? Follow up, what do you think of the modification of the PoB earning method for Star Conflict?

  As for the new GMRG system, I’m mostly happy for it since I have always desired attaining Rank XII and now it seems a little anticlimactic. Overall though it’s a great change and i do actually support it. I’m very happy the GMRG is now in line with the rest of the societies.

  As for Star Conflict the changes to the PoB awards is a welcome one. This was a very hard game to attain all 6 PoB’s and now this change has most definitely fixed that.
