Hoth BTL position is open for applications.

After some very long conversations with the Hoth/Clan summits along with feedback from key members of the clan it has been decided to inactivate the Knights of Allusis.Since even before the loss of New Tython the fictional path of the team became out of sync with the House and the clan as a whole. So it’s my unfortunate task to inactivate the oldest BT in the Clan at this time. Maybe one day when the House and Clan have need of it again the Knights will ride again but effective June 1st, 2017 the Knights of Allusis will become a NPC battleteam. A brand new team that will be created by the House Summit, with strong input from the soon to be hired Battleteam leader, to replace KoA.

Due to this late development and change in scope of Hoth’s BT structure and not being able to hire a new KoA BTL. I have decided to reopen BTL applications for this new and extremely rare opportunity to the members of Odan-Urr. This is being done to allow all parties the opportunity to submit new applications for the prestige of being the first BTL and help the house summit in creating Hoth’s new battleteam from the ground up.

Pay attention to the application requirements you will need make sure to respond to the requirements to be awarded this rare opportunity in the DJB. Of course all previous applicants must reapply making sure their new applications reflect the new requirements. If you resend the same application without any edits it will look poorly on you.

What you must be included in your application

• A little bit about yourself. Leadership experience (DJB and RL), DJB projects and a anything else you think would make you the right person for this rare opportunity.
• Provide no more than 2 detailed and complete ideas for the new direction and scope of the new team. If you submit more than 2 than only the first 2 will be considered.
• How do you envisioning your ideas fitting within the House storyline and into our new home Solyiat? How will it fit within the Clan makeup?
• If your initial designs do not match the House Summit’s approval are you willing to work with them as a team player to design a battleteam that everyone will be excited about and accept their final decision?
• A 30/60/90 plan is not required but you will be required to give insights on how you will build the team and attract new members to join the team in the short term. Then you must show how you will actively hype the team and remain for the long haul.
• Would you require members to meet certain criteria to join or stay on the team? If yes, than what would they be? If no, then why?
• We want the battle team to grow organically, have its own story but still work hand in hand with the full House vision and storylines as well.
• So what makes you an ideal candidate? Why do you want this position? Are you a team player that will work with the summit to make the whole House better? Will you work with the Battleteam members and make the team one that includes everyone?

Minimum Qualifications

• You must be active and have had recorded activity for the last 3 months, you must commit to a reasonable amount of time in the position to get the team off the ground (barring real life of course).
  *If you are awarded this position you will be required to be active. We do not want someone who is awarded a position and then sits idle. Participating in comps, creating comps, submitting reports and being an active voice in Telegram and Email will be required. Teamspeak access would be extremely helpful as well.
• Basic ability in creating and editing wikipages - To help with House wiki projects along with creating all needed pages for the new BT.
  
• Creative Thinker - Can you Help the House Summit develop and/or write future event plots and storylines for both the BT and the full house?
• Strong Leadership Qualities - What is your leadership philosophy? How will you engage and inspire your team to be active.
• 24 hour email turn around time
• Basic familiarity with most or all DJB activity systems (SA, ACC, Gaming, etc.)
• A true desire to improve the enjoyment of this club for the members of the Battle team and the House in general. House Hoth and its Battleteam. The main goal is to create a place where the members feel safe, engaged, encouraged to be creative/ have fun as a part of the entire Odan-Urr Family.
  

Final Notes

There is NO minimum rank and NO previous Leadership experience requirements for this position.

What I’m really looking for is someone who is a team player who understands that the primary goal of leadership within this club is to ensure our members are enjoying themselves. I’m not looking for a subordinate, I’m looking for a solid leader who can bring fresh ideas to the House Summit, and who is willing to commit to the process of creating a new BT and go the extra mile to help the members of the Battle team and the House.
