Introduction - House Event Inbound!
For the simple reason that I’m LAZY and LATE on this report I’ll make this a quick one. You guys did great in January and now we are almost ready to release the next House event. This one will take place after the last event we ran and incorporate elements from the war in it as well. We (read Celevon) is in the midst of writing up the fiction and we should be ready to do a full announce and launch hopefully by his report in the next few days.
But in the meantime you need to prepare yourself for Hoth’s next event “Hoth:The Price of Freedom”!
General News
GM Pravus released the Nomination of Telaris "Mav" Cantor as the next GM to take over when Pravus’ term ends near the end of the month. Go read it and if you have any questions for the nominee send them directly to Arch ASAP!
Blade dropped a nice PCon report - which is a must read for us all.
Also don’t forget Ranarr’s new RM report as well.

The Voice finally released 2 GJW XII fictions Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 with at least 2 more chapters to come.
Our wonderful Headmaster released his latest report, Which includes the opening of the Praetor to the Headmaster position to applications!! All applications must be in Before the Feb 12, 2018 deadline!

The 2018 Scimitar of Lord Hoth Update
Hoth - The 2018 Scimitar of Lord Hoth -
January was expected to be a slow month with people recovering from the War and the Holidays, but it was nice to see most of the house come back to life this month. Now with the first month of 2018 in the books it will be interesting to see who comes out with the Scimitar at the end of the year!
So, for the month of January 2018 the Scimitar of House Hoth is Luna Okami! Ozosi Vym took second while Tisto Kingang came in third.

This month, we have a returning member to COU to single out Sariel Dhejeuti returned to COU when they closed down Tarentum and he has not only brought back his spirit, insights and passion for a good story. He also brought his activity as well. He joined the Wildcards and hit the ground running, doing competitions and taking an active role in the BT’s ongoing origins Run-On. We are glad to have you back and even more glad to have you in Hoth!
