Daleem
Tisto took a look outside the main window in the Governor's office. The snow covered tundra that was the land around Pernicar Manor was covered in machinery as more of the town they were supposed to watch over was built. This decision to make the Houses of Odan-Urr into nobility did not make sense to the Kiffar, regardless of Hoth's filing of the proper paperwork before he even had the job. When he had been informed that Hoth forced itself back into existence to fight against the Darkside, Tisto had not expected this to be how they went about it.
Somewhat more expected was the rallying cry among the people of Hoth to embrace the past, looking at the one they named themselves after. Things almost made sense to the Kiffar when he found out that there was some old dude who went under the title of Jedi Lord. Masahiro’s exasperation had been worth the read into ancient history to make the explanation. Tisto had embraced this small rebellion by changing the title on the door.
He looked back on the desk, looking at the personnel reports from the preceding month. It seemed that some of the quieter members of Hoth had gotten up to some shenanigans. Jafits, Edgar and Wennet seemed to have noticed the Sephi guard that was being trained up for this new venture into politics. There had been some sort of altercation between them, the stories were all different. Edgar had been boasting his accomplishments in one, Wennet angry over the loss of a padawan, or Jafits had questioned these guards' loyalty in comparison to his. Either way it seemed the three of them had successfully beaten the entirety of the guard the Vatali had put forward.
“I suppose for introductions it's not too bad,” Tisto said to himself, hoping to fill the empty room with something. His own voice would have to do. “We need to finish this construction so I have people to talk to.”
Hello Hoth. Sorry for the missed reports. Things have somehow just settled down with the semester. Additionally, one of my big focuses was not started until September, and that is the Lord Protector of Pernicar Manor. We will go into that a bit more later on, but with it running I wanted to make sure that with my report I could talk about the first month's results.
So with that put aside, what do we have moving forward? Well much like Sunrider we have an event coming up, with the competitions being written up as you read this. We have this kickass new manor that we have to take advantage of on Daleem, and of course our own future to flesh out. We were sent here to help reestablish the planet, engage in Vatali politics, and kick the butt of the Darkside. We pushed things back a bit for the Pro Bowl, but there is an entire bout of nonsense we can get up to. Keep an eye out for the Return Of The Jedi Lords, or whatever the name ends up being.
I do have a questionnaire for you guys though, as I work on these competitions to get them ready for you.
What is the Lord Protector? Well, with the clan having adopted the Scimitar of Lord Hoth we once again find ourselves in need of a symbol of our House. So we turn to our new role as a noble house in the Vatali Empire. A noble house such as ours needs its own elite guards, and trustworthy people to hold the title of Lord Protector. This is a competition based on your monthly activity, no subscription necessary. Any and all ties are broken by the number of credits you earned over a month, with everything else driven by your activity. Much like the Scimitar there is a yearly fictional reward of the title, symbolizing your achievements for the House. If you win the 2024 year, you will be referred to as the Lord Protector in any House fictions for the following year.
So with 14 of you to measure, how did we do this first month? 1st- Jafits Skrumm 2nd- Edgar Drachen 3rd- Wenet C Bannog
You can see the results here!
I know I put this in the competition highlights, but I cannot put enough emphasis on this event. Clan Odan-Urr is made up of many factions beyond just our houses. Are you a Jedi? A Spy? A Soldier? A Diplomat? This is a story meant to explore all of these things that make us Clan Odan-Urr. We even have a terrible hex map to look at, and I do apologize for the number of hexes. Wolfe put me in charge of that and I can’t not go overboard.
We are now entering the third phase of the first Western Marches campaign, our journey through Quermina entering the halfway point. I hope to see y’alls work in entries and the RPs.
