Hello everyone and welcome to the Febuary/March Edition of the Hoth Quaestor Report! I’ll admit exams caught me off guard. Thankfully we have a new Event going on in Hoth, with the city of Kaal having finished its first level of construction.
With that out of the way, let’s get into the report!
“This is insane,” Edgar’s voice rang out in the relatively empty Pernicar Manor. “I did not come here to get roped up into political schemes.”
The governor of Kaal rolled his eyes in response. “Neither did I. That's why I am doing this.”
The two old colleagues sat across the governor's desk from each other. The argument had been going on for the better part of the last few days, with Edgar having threatened to show up several times to settle things in person. Now that he was here however, things seemed more peaceful. Tisto did not doubt for a second a large part of that was because of the alcohol he was providing.
“What's the point of this anyway? Shouldn’t we stay out of politics and just let the Vatali do their thing while we do ours? I liked our old agreement better,” Edgar shook his head, taking a sip of his drink.
“Do you really want me in total control of this city?”
“No!” Edgar frowned. “Back when we were just in charge of Trepus mine and working through the military things were better. None of this politicking, that was always Shan’s business.” Tisto chuckled. “Would it make you feel better to know we are being infiltrated?”
Edgar took another sip from his drink, not even sitting up at the news. “Does the Knight Commander know?”
“Please, I haven’t even told Turel since he showed up. I don’t know who they got to yet,” the governor looked at his drink.
“Trust me that much?”
Tisto had known Edgar a long time, but then again if the information about this cult was correct anyone could be a member. “They have some influence with one of the groups running for a seat on the council. Your very public reaction to the news of mandatory voting makes you the one person I can trust not to be a member of the cult.”
“Even though I started a political party?” There was a moment of silence in the air, but it did not last long as both men laughed.
Well, we are back at it for Western Marches. We have a killer RP going on right now as the war kicks back off. The Dominion were unwilling to let things continue to remain peaceful for long it seems and yet the RP isn’t focusing on them but instead the old CIS droids currently wrecking up the other side of the planet. We have a light set of comps for Febuary as well, so take a look at those. On the House front, with Kaal’s construction nearing completion something dark seems to be approaching.
For further competitions or if you’re reading this a few days after I posted my report, check here for a list of competitions. There will always be end dates attached to each competition for your ease of decision making on which competitions you would like to sign up for. All Competitions End At 1759/5:59pm CST.
So, with another month of the Lord Protector coming to pass I have to hand it to several of our House members for their hard work. If anyone would like to see what the final scores were across the board, the points are calculated here!
With a metric ton of Clusters of Fire, Turel takes the lead in December, with Edgar and Syrena trailing behind. I’ll admit this was a bit of a low month for February, with eight active members. Still, those who were active did a lot.
As we enter a new year, I promise one of these days I will have anything resembling an idea to poke the Herald with for Graphics for these reports. Your work at the end of the year was impressive and I can’t wait to see how you all lead the way with this new month!
