Hoth Summit Report #1: Creatures of the Night

Introduction
Hello to my fellow Hothians and Odanites, as well as possible onlookers from other units. Welcome to the first House Hoth Summit report with myself and Kah Manet at the helm. This promises to be an interesting venture, so let’s see how it goes. As you can no doubt tell by the table of contents, there is no fiction update; one is in the works as we speak. With that said, let’s jump into the meat of this report!
Another month has come and gone and, with it, another section of the Scimitar of Hoth! These are the top five of June’s Scimitar:
- Reaver Luna Okami—90.75 Points
- Mystic Jael Chi’ra—72 Points
- Ranger Ka Tarvitz—62 Points
- Reaver Saba Astor Tarentae—41 Points
- Augur Edgar Drachen—35.75 Points
The overall numbers are currently very interesting and can change up at any given time depending on exactly how much effort you put forth through your activity. If you’re curious as to how specific points are earned, they’re clearly laid out in the competition details.
News
Clan/House
- Kris releases the third report as Battleteam Leader of the Wildcards.
Brotherhood
- The Combat Master released his seventeenth report, chock full of juicy new things within the ACC.
- The Office of the FIST has been a busy one this past month. We have the twentieth report and two (this and this one) from Dracpool himself. His Praetor Juna released her second report and a Brotherhood Gaming League update. Be sure to check those out to keep up with Gaming News.
- Slagar released his third report as Herald, calling for two new Magistrates!
- The Angry Panda (otherwise known as Howie) released his tenth report that has some nice details you should read if you’re interested in running competitions.
- In the Shadow Academy, a Praetor has been appointed and there’s a call for a new Professor.
- Our prime Code Monkey (James) released his Seneschal report for July, detailing what changes were made to the site and how many times he had to fix it.
- The Social Media Tribune has released his second report and chosen a staff member.
- The Voice office has been a busy one. The fifteenth Voice report came out, as well as the collaborative continuation of the club’s storyline; be sure to check it out. For those of you who prefer it, there is a tl;dr version of the fiction within the report itself.
Aedile Corner
Celevon and I want to make sure you guys have the best experience in Hoth as you all possibly can. In that spirit, I have created a form for you to all use and give us an idea on what you’d like the direction for us to go in. When we compile the forms and view the answers, we will be taking what you guys suggest and will be releasing a sleuth of competitions for you all to help us flesh out the story.

Also, a quick shout out to a new weekly thing a few of us do that is a lot of fun and community building. Friday and Sunday nights around 8 PM EST, a whole gang of us play Cards Against Humanity and have a blast on Discord. Anyone is welcome, so come and have some fun with us!
