Greetings, Jedi of Odan-Urr!

This is your Quaestor, Liam Torun, with an update on the progress and activity of House Odan-Urr, the Brotherhood, and the Star Wars universe. Contained within this briefing is all you need to know to catch up, get up to speed, and get back to kicking Sith ass in our ongoing battle against the Dark Side!

Odan-Urr is stronger than ever; the recent AWOL check barely touched us, and our members are active and vocal on the mailing lists. Our members have earned many awards, accolades, and promotions, and many are hungry for more, eager to turn the next page in our struggle for freedom and justice. This briefing will ensure that you, new member or veteran, Jedi Master or Youngling, will be up to speed and ready to fight the good fight!

Over the past few months, our Summit has altered dramatically. Joining me are Aedile Mirus Hi'ija and Rollmaster Rhiann Baenre; they are here to help you, Mirus driving our blade against the Brotherhood with activity and Rhiann teaching our Padawans to become Jedi Knights in full. Alongside us, we have our three fine Battleteams and their leaders, Turel Sorenn - KoA, Revak Kur - StO, and Nathan Deciarus - DoB.

We've had many awards and accolades of note recently; Lu'aisha Gresee has become a Jedi Knight, several of our members including V'yr Vorsa have earned such awards as the coveted Amethyst Kukri, and our people continue to climb to prominence in the Brotherhood at large. Now, we turn to a new chapter; we will wrap up our work on New Tython before striking out to the stars, taking on the Brotherhood and, more importantly, Brotherhood-wide Competitions.

Competition Recap

Right now, Odanites have six competitions available for their participation and pleasure. I personally recommend the one about sharks - it was great fun for me, and contributes to our House Lore. That said, all of them are awesome - so get to it! Show me that HYPE!

I'd like to lead this off with a moment of silence. Many bothans died to bring us this information.

Aabsdu Dupar di Plagia has been chosen as our new Master-At-Arms! The MAA is in charge of the Brotherhood's rewards, promotions, administrative changes, and a host of other logistical details; it is his Office that keeps this club running. Also of note, he has elected several Dark Jedi to his new staff; even now, our spies and go-betweens are working so that they can help us in the cause of the Light. Congratulations go out to them. May they help us all along the road to reward and promotion.

The Voice of the Brotherhood has released a new report. Detailed therein is a summary of new competitions, ACC adjustments, and some words on the way forward. The Voice of the Brotherhood is in charge of the club's lore, story, and fictional pursuits - you would do well to read his words, and learn from his teachings!

Clan Plagueis, a Clan of slave traders, saboteurs, and powerful Sith, has selected a new Consul! Congratulations go out toVivackus Kavon di Plagia! Viv was my first successful Student years ago, and no doubt the Clan is now in good hands. We can look forward to long months of cooperation, collaboration, and competition against this Clan in the future; this will truly be a great thing for Odan-Urr and the Brotherhood at large.

Our home planet, New Tython, is free! A couple of months ago, we deposed the False King, Cy Thuron, who had conquered it years before during the Dark Crusade. Now, the peoples of the planet have largely united, signing the Treaty of Menat Ombo and forming into four nations - one for Tythonians, Harakoans, Independents, and Jedi. These nations have each settled into their own boundaries, while they train security forces and set in stone the new laws they have decided.

Next month, we will be delving into the story of the Independent Colonies of New Tython. Comprising settlements of our planet's Mon Calamari, Wookiee, Bothan, and Geonosian majorities, these each face unique challenges and will need our help if they are to remain peaceful and independent. Be ready, Jedi - each of these peoples is self-governed, and though we are at peace, cultures will clash before the day is won.

On the horizon, we look to the unrest in the home system of House Scholae Palatinae, whom we are planning a Feud with even now. We will go to their worlds, aid their rebels, and try to weaken the Imperial House; meanwhile, from afar, we begin to see the darker machinations of a much larger foe... the spectre of Clan Plagueis watches and waits, hungry for Jedi blood.

Odan-Urr is strong, Jedi. Our members are attaining high ranks and positions, and are being showered in rewards. We have had a good, long rest, and now we look to continue the fight. But the Sith have not been idle; even now, the Dark Council consolidates its holdings, while the House of Scholae Palatinae seeks to oppress its people and Clan Plagueis builds toward darkness on the horizon. We must be ever vigilant to win this battle, for it is a battle without end; we defend freedom, justice, and peace in the Galaxy.

If we will not fight, who will?

Stand up tall, Jedi. You are defenders of the Light, mighty warriors of the Force's Will. You wield true power, and you do so with humility. To serve you is my honor; to fight beside you, my privilege.
