Hello Ajunta Pallians, welcome to my first fully graphiced (just go with it) report, thanks for that goes to Slags, despite all the stuff he has to do Slags took the time to talk with me on irc and help me figure out what I wanted to have my graphics look like. Also bonus point for consistency, as you may or may not have noticed the style of the graphics used by Drac, Slags (when he did House reports) and I follow a consistent style partly because this is easier to do and partly because it’s a good idea.
As I’m sure you’ve heard by now the magnificent Taranae Rhode has joined us here in HAP to lead our DoD battleteam and I know from seeing her work in HKM as well as outside the brotherhood that Taranae is an amazing person to work with. Taranae as she has already explained via email to the House was the first ever BTS of this battleteam which gives it a sense of homecoming.
I’m glad to have such a close friend who I’ve been through so much with alongside me in this adventure. Welcome to the team Taranae.
So the Aftermath series of competitions has finished for now as well as the HAP Scholars Program competition and the results are in. Our BTL Taranae earned a couple of crescents as did the member I'd like to highlight, Doku. Doku gained the same number of crescents just earning higher placings in the competitions. His crescents were earned for a 2nd place in the graphics component of Aftermath as well as the winning fiction. Taranae scooped 3rd place in the graphics and the Scholar Program.
Aftermath served it's purpose in my eyes at least, it showed that while we tend to like big events for some reason or another we need more work to make these series mean something so that you guys will take part. However I understand that school, work and to some degree Forged Alliances took priority for people and this is a hobby club. I know I'm thinking on some ideas to make the next one (hopefully post Forged Alliances) more of a success and representation of our skill and effort.
The Forged Alliances event with Tarentum is ongoing and I’d just like to encourage you all to take part in whatever you can, if you don't want to sign up for the team events you can still do the individual comps to show how good we are at mobilizing our numbers during such events.
Aftermath was the first of what Drac and I are hoping to be regular series of competitions with potentially the best performing participant receiving special recognition in some form. Drac and I will discuss this and recognise members accordingly.
So go show us all just how amazing you are and how privileged Drac and I are not just to be in the positions we are but how lucky we are to have a group like you to work with.
Sometimes it’ll be different types of stuff filling in this section of my report but for this month I decided to go with a haiku. For those of you who don’t know a haiku is traditionally a Japanese poem that uses three phrases containing 5, 7 and 5 syllables per phrase. The most notable use of Haiku I can think of is Zer0 from Borderlands 2 who speaks most of his phrases in Haiku. Since we’re an all dark clan what better topic than demons waiting to eat us. The demon lives still, Among the living it roams, Waiting to devour.
Dractoberfest happened

And no mention of the new trailer for episode VII?
Tsk tsk tsk
Good report
Great report, kelly! Pay no heed to the blue man above!
nice job :)
Bit odd to be talking about trailers when there's tickets to be bought! Got mine earlier today. But being the movie theater noob I am I don't know if it's good to be close to the screen or not so I applied the logic of concerts and other live performances where the front is usually the good part.
Report approved! Solid work, Kelly.
Nice work, Kelly!
