Alas, our vacation is over and we've made our return to Aliso, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been plenty of stuff going on in Plagueis and around the club as a whole. We had an excellent turn out with 369 entries in only two weeks of competitions. That's a pretty impressive number and I'm proud to say that HAP contributed a staggering 211 of them. That makes me incredibly proud, especially as this was an experimental event in that we've run events with around the same number of competitions before but this time we made sure they were all really easy to do. I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to get in even a single entry and to those who didn't, well there's always next time. I'd also like to welcome Blueeyes to HAP. He's taken to the Shadow Academy rather well, taking courses after courses and persisting if he doesn't get everything right first time, this is something we can all aspire to, I know I try to be this way.
The short answer is that remains to be seen, we're waiting on an epilogue before we know what we can do in terms of serious plot development. The longer answer is that this is now an opportunity for anyone who has thought of running a competition to do so. I have an idea for some kind of event similar to the one we've just had but I'll flesh out the idea some more and submit that to Slags and Laren. While as leaders it is our job to make sure everyone is enjoying their time here, that doesn't mean we have to be the only ones and I'd like to see more members giving competition creation a go, if you don't feel like running it yourself I'm always looking for stuff to do so you can send the idea my way if you'd prefer.

Heading towards the various holidays this month, here are some things that happened on the 10th of January throughout history.
1306- Robert the Bruce killed Sir John Comyn of Badenoch, sparking a nationalist revolution against the English, he would be crowned King of Scotland 5 weeks later.
1763 saw the Treaty of Paris(there are actually 31 treaties known as the treaty of Paris and more that could be referred to as the Paris treaty) end the French and Indian War and saw France cede Quebec to Great Britain.
1939 saw Francisco Franco's Nationalists conclude their conquest of Catalonia and seal the border with France.
Wednesday marks one those silly commercial holidays that are still around to make companies money, but instead of all that you can be genuine and give that special someone the most valuable thing you can, your time. Wow, that got a bit out of hand and positive, anyway if you have someone great, if not you can talk to your super cool internet friends instead.
