House News!

With the closure of Tal'mah'ra (as referenced in my boss's report, which hopefully you ALL READ RIGHT?), I thought it'd be a good time to remind people of WHY we Battleteam.

A battleteam allows you to expand your character's backstory and history, as well as build close, both in and out of character, ties with fellow members. This opens up a ton of fiction possibilities for one, and many BTs (including Nighthawk, wink wink nudge nudge) run comps exclusive to their membership. This is also one of the few ways to obtain the frustratingly rare Quartz Crescent (seriously. Not joking. I'm sitting at 139 Crescents from the past four years and still don't have one.), so for you completionists out there, join a team!

That said, if you have an interest in hopping onto the Nighthawk, a team with a solid background and a lot of potential at the moment, give myself or Qyreia a shout, we'll move you over. And don't let the roles of the team confuse you, fictionally speaking yes, the Nighthawk is an intelligence gathering vessel. In practice its a very Normandy style team, you might not have anything in your character's background or sheet that says 'I should do this particular job on the ship,' so what? Always need folks for those ground missions, right?

Clan News!

Now here's the big thing, the thing we've been gnawing at the bit for the best two months. Sins Episode Three is coming. As in THIS WEEKEND! That's right, six events and a bunch of story advancement for the Clan! Go check out the prompts and comps, kids, it runs for one month, but you can never start too soon. I'll also note that I myself won the last Sins, and Maenaki (K'tana) won the one before that, so by my count, that's...one for each House. Tiebreaker? But seriously, go and enjoy yourselves, and don't let me win twice in a row :P

Also! Our awesome Rollmaster created an awesome thing called Compalert that helps keep folks up to date on available competitions. Signing up is quick, easy, and customizable, just like Uji's mom.
