Sufre, Aifreann Continent
Eldar
Dawn was just cresting the horizon, visible from the parapets of the starport-turned-Fort Claybake over the primarily squat buildings of the Sardinian capital of Sufre. A mix of Galerian soldiers from the 6th Recon and 11th “Eldar Rangers” Special Forces companies walked in almost relaxed quiet among the windows and along the rooftop. Everything was so peaceful that it made more than a few of the soldiers’ hair stand on end.
Even in Sufre, it was never this quiet.
The first bomb seemed less to explode than to lift soil, street, and the starport wall up in a reddish-brown bubble that finally reached critical mass, sending anything that hadn’t fallen aside upward in a cloud of detritus and a colossal noise. Of course, what comes up must go down, and the amalgam of material cascaded back to ground in a heap. Were it not for the protrusions of guns and the occasional limb or piece of armor, one might not have even thought that there were people buried underneath. With ears still ringing, muffled shouts could be heard along the length of the other undamaged portions of the starport superstructure.
Through the red-brown haze, the nearest soldier, just barely righted onto his feet by a compatriot, nearly missed seeing the fleeting shapes dashing into the dust cloud from across the street.
“It’s an attack!” he shouted through a coughing fit. “They’re going for the breach!”

Summary
While you recover from the brief fiction update above and the full thing on the Discourse forums (or Run-On Center as they like to call it now, which can be found in the Resources tab of the home page), the current plan for the leadership changeover is that Q will change out with Atty after the upcoming Clan event (details below); so in roughly a month. This is also pending plans and applications for House leadership. If applications are solicited, they will be requested in their own separate report.
With the return of the Q to the homeland and something resembling normalcy, and Sera likewise settling into their own rhythm, we’re moving to Discord on a more definite basis. While we’re not shutting down, deleting, or otherwise messing with the ol’ channel on Telegram, the business end of this House’s chatroom stick will (unfortunately) be on Discord. While we acknowledge that the majority of the House dislikes the move and the platform, this was a decision made without such sentiments in mind. More people liked the Fortnite pay-to-win skin over the F2P thing we already had going.
All of that said, the best way to reach a Q on the go is still through Telegram direct messages. Orion is better reached through Discord, though the audience may find a delay while our Zabrak gets their effects unpacked after the holiday break.
As of right now, the only sneak-peek we can provide to you all is the launch of a Clan event in a week or so, presumably to arrive alongside the Clan report next weekend. A club fiction update suggests that we’ll see a Vendetta-type event sometime in the summer with yet another new enemy, but there are no hard dates confirmed. That unfortunately concludes the Event Calendar section. As more is developed, we hope to refresh this item and resume our usual predictability.
Here’s some of the latest from the Clan and club beyond. Look forward to the Clan update next weekend with our alleged event!
