Announcements

It is an honor to be writing my first Aedile report. First and foremost, by doctrine, the Aedile is the day-to-day administrative legate for the Quaestor. It will be my task to ensure awards, promotions, appointments, and the like are issued in accordance with members’ activity levels and existing policy. Furthermore, it is my aim to promote activity and competitions at all levels and to try to establish a more interactive and holistic IC realm for us as Imperials to operate within. This will become easier as our lore, motto, and character becomes published. Which brings me to my next topic below!

Imperial Intel

With the conclusion of the GJW the battered remnant of the Imperial forces have all returned to the Cocytus System. Despite these continued reversals in the face of the Fias Zhan heresy, the Emperor has stated the rebuilding and fortifying the Cocytus System is a vital concern for the Empire. Several key items have been screened for immediate release:

• Imperial shipyards and repair bays are at maximum capacity refurbishing the damaged capital ships. Estimated time to completion will take several months. Many fighters and shuttle-craft are being replaced immediately. This procurement is being funded by the liquidation of war prizes seized from Korriban.

• Heavy losses have been sustained amongst the ground forces of the Empire. Casualty figures were very high amongst the Expeditionary units and the recent native levees pressed into service with the Regiments. The Emperor and his War Council are considering consolidating units to bring assets to full strength, reduce upkeep, and better align leadership amongst the top commanders. Word on these appointments will be forthcoming as the ground forces brace for an overhaul of command staff.

• Rebuilding of the Imperial Winter Palace continues despite initial delays. Completion is expected as scheduled due to close collaboration of the contractor and local labor which has flocked to show support for the victorious Imperial administration.

• Victory in the recent GJW has created a groundswell of support for the Imperial regime. Local remnants of the heretical parties on Caina and Judecca have been rounded up and offered to the garrisons in several major cities. To capitalize on this wave of good fortune and to remedy the mistakes of the past, the Emperor is considering appointing several key Imperial officers of sufficient rank the positions of Governor and Lieutenant Governor of key locations, regions, and planets to administer on his behalf and to ensure continued compliance.

• Now that the Cocytus System is home to a Clan once more, the titles of nobility are being considered for reissuance. No word yet on when or how this will occur but administration insiders hint that it will align with the new military and government positions being handed out.

At the Clan & House level there are several competitions that are still open until the end of the month so please submit an entry. Doing so is not only fun and a chance to interact with your peers but also allows us to upgrade the awards and continue building our IC presence.

We have seen an impressive array of promotions to knighthood as well as the venerable promotion of an Elder rank. In terms of awards, clearly we have MANY gamers who are prolific so keep up the good work. Apart from gaming, fair to say we have many talented writers as well based on Crescent counts and a fair showing of CIs. Aule Jr. receives special praise for both attaining knighthood and receiving multiple Crescents and CFs.

Final Word

The post GJW euphoria is still in high gear due to our 3rd place finish and reestablishment of the Clan. At the Summit level there are many long term events planned this year so be on the lookout. For Imperium, the priority is to establish our lore. In that regard we are working to reissue the nobility system as well as appointing military or government positions to all DJK+. The intent is to create a far more immersed IC environment for us to truly become the Empire that we operate in. For all fiction, comp, and military buffs be excited!
