Imperial War Office, March Isles 35ABY
“With the near destruction of The Ohmen Royal Palace, the disappearance of the Emperor, and the looming threat of the Iron Legion within our systems. How can we possibly think about rebuilding!?” Director Tarzak shouted out, his burning red eyes flashing. The Zabrak was in charge of the Imperial Resource Centre and responsible for the long-term survival of the Clan and House. His concerns were always pragmatic. Next to him was Jurdan Krennel, the Battleteam Leader of Shadow Guard and the head of the Imperial Academy, who - surprisingly - kept his calm; despite the roaring Zabrak next to him.
But his eyes darted over to his superior, as the Quarren Imperator was slowly pacing in front of the circular window, with a beautiful view of the isles coast. His gaze and focus on the floor below him, mumbling in his Quarrenese dialect, occupied and separate. Jurdan looked back to the angry Zabrak and sighed.
“Yes, I understand your concern about the might of the Iron Legion, but if we do not have the right ships to evacuate, we will not be evacuating. We need to gather our thoughts, assess the damage from the New Dawn and try another-” Jurdan’s reply was quickly interrupted when Director Tarzak threw his datapad at him. The Human swiftly rose his hand and halted the device mid-air, allowing it to slowly glide across the Lexiconus’ desk and sit.
“Director, lashing out is not going to get your concerns across to the Imperator. Now, if you have a written and reviewed proposal about your evacuation plan, I am sure he will read it over.” Jurdan finished.
“Yes, evacuation. That’s what he did,” Lexiconus whispered, which caught the ear of Jurdan and Tarzak. The Quarren slowly looked over to his council, placing his hands behind his back and walked around his desk to meet Jurdan.
“Send your best across the Cocytus system, see if you can find any evidence of the Emperor’s evacuation. Something like electrical signals that aren’t a town, an Excidium base or otherwise. I feel there may be a piece of the puzzle we’re missing.” Lexiconus patted Jurdan’s shoulder and they both shared a smile. Puffing and mumbling in anger, Lexiconus turned to look at the Director and softly sighed.
“Tarzak, I value your input immensely. Over the past three years, you have assisted myself and my predecessor vastly. Because of your important and unbiased input in these conversations, you are welcome to stay. However,” Lexiconus’ hand slowly rose as his fingers curled, Tarzak lifted from the floor, his neck glowing red and purple. The Force emanated from the Imperator, who gripped tightly while the Zabrak’s throat began to tighten and inflame.
“Assaulting a member of my staff is punishable by execution. I will not tolerate your sour behaviour in my meetings again, become noncompliant with my rules and you will be excused from your position. Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, Tarzak,” Lexiconus slowly lowered the Zabrak onto his feet again and released him. The Quarren then nodded respectfully to the men and slowly walked out the door.
“Your resources are invaluable to my search efforts and focus on your mission. Not your position, Director.”
Undisclosed Location, Caina
The beeping and whirring of the medical monitors chimed a symphony of life, while the soft and gentle flicker of lights comforted, rather than strained, the Quarren’s eyes. He stood there quietly, watching from the door at the scene before him.
A fragile and pale body, his brown hair long and unkempt, a beard slowly extending down his neck. Lexiconus’ eyes peered around to his wardrobe and inspected the items within, carefully looking for bugs or any kind of surveillance hardware.
“You won’t find any,” A female voice called, as the blonde Human shuffled passed the machines. “I check everyday. Nobody is listening,” Stana smiled.
Lexiconus could not smile, he did not have the strength to fake it. The lies, the deceit, the torturous days he spent locked away from this Empire, it ruined him. The Quarren nodded and sighed, hoping it would pass for Stana.
“Nobody will know, ma’am. His reputation would plummet,” he replied, as his hand reached out and tugged one of the lightsabers hanging. He inspected the craftsmanship, all the personal nuance and details that went into making the weapon. For the Elder, it was flawless. An icon of strength.
“They need a leader right now, Lexic,” He patted his shoulder. “And if Elincia cannot do it…” Lexiconus pocketed the lightsaber and turned his back on the room, stormed down the corridor. He had heard enough of this discussion.
We don’t need a leader, He thought. We have a summit.
Goodevening Imperials, and welcome to the LOVE edition of the House Imperium reports! The snow is slowly melting, the sun erupts from the clouds and your friends are...still wearing their furry coats. Maybe it’s not as spring-y as we thought, but I do have a report as action packed as the spring baby season.
Where are we going? You know where we are going...
TO THE REPORT!!
Thumb-tacles up!
With the ever looming end date for our fleet closes in, we get a grasp through the Clan possessions on what our Consul has planned for the ships. Represented with names such as Vader, Sidious, Tarkin, Thrawn, and Amedda, it shows us that both Consul and Proconsul are thinking alike for our theme - Imperial regime.
But now this poses another question; what does this mean for Excidium?
Xen and Elincia both advertised for a new Excidium Quaestor, to fill the boots of our Pinky, who left to join the Jedi Clan. He found himself blasted away by the application of one impressive Elder. He told his plan of action and the effective reasons behind why he needs not just himself, but an Aedile.
Braecen Kaeth was appointed your Excidium Quaestor.
Alara Deathbane became the Excidium Aedile, in order to help and assist Braecen’s plan.
Please join me in congratulating these two, and help them in their plan by completing this handy CSP Gaming Survey!
Below, are some competitions that are still running, you can fill your boots and pockets with as much crescents as you desire:

Special shoutout to Reiden & Reiyden on your uprising activity! Well done, chaps!
This is going to be the special edition of the spotlight because I feel this touches, not only everyone in Clan Scholae Palatinae, but the entire Brotherhood too.
A few days ago, the Consul and his team decided that the new logo was out of date. It included a sun, a sword and two dragons, which are no longer represented in our Clan anymore. Because of this, the leaders decided to formulate and construct a proposal for a new design and symbol that fully and more clearly represented what the Clan is. So let’s break it down into the core details that we need:
So together, Xen and Eli came up with this proposal
They did not disappoint, and neither did Pravus and Mav think so. I am happy and delighted to introduce to you, the new CSP Logo!!
Braecen asks: Who’s your BroQUA?
Lex:
Braecen asks: If there was one major thing to know about your House's fictional identity it would be?
Lex: If there was one major thing I want this house to be functionally identical for, it would be the military force and power we demonstrate. I want units to be cautious, fearful and subordinate to what Imperium represents. Because we are a bunch of Force and Non-Force users who dedicate our full time into making a super-armed force. War and destruction is what we know, and it is what others should know. We have the power to destroy others in a multitude of methods and directions, it just takes time to pick one.
Katyusha asks: Are you actually Cthulhu’s little brother?
Lex: Maybe... >_>
Reiden asks: I did the things. Can I stop now? :P
Lex: Did you do ALL the things? No? Get back to work, son! :P
Check out my lovely diagram!
Until next time folks!
Always watching… Always waiting...
