Introduction

Welcome, Muurians!

We’ve been waiting for you all summer, and we’re SO glad you’re finally here!

Ok, well, it isn’t quite summer yet, but we’re still glad you’re finally here! As absolutely ridiculous as that whole video is, it does bring up something that I’d like to speak on, and that is fellowship. One of the most important things that brings us all back to this club is the feeling that this really is a Brotherhood. Finding your place in this club can be tough sometimes, but I encourage each of us to appreciate what we all bring to the table. If you see someone that is struggling in something (fiction, gaming, graphics, etc) try offering a helping hand.

Speaking of belonging, we at HKM would like to give a big shout out and congratulations to the founders of the new Clan Vizsla! We’d like to wish them well in their endeavors, and remember, their success can only further improve this club!

Our Quaestor Tu’Quan is nursing a pretty wicked injury for a few weeks, and all of us in Karness Muur and Plagueis in general wish him a quick a speedy recovery! In the meantime, I’ll cover the latest happenings around the club.

It’s been quite a newsworthy month here in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood!

• Plagueis Proconsul Report #14: The Wrath Starts Summer - The one where Ronovi starts to break down the recent Vacation on Mustafar event! Stay tuned over the next few days for a full post with full event results!

• Herald Update #2 - The Shroud War has ended! Congratulations to the winners, and to the Herald and his staff for running a successful event!

• A lot has happened on the Dark Council since last month! Drac says Aloha after 33 months(!!) as FIST. Vyr ended a very successful term as Deputy Grand Master, and was recognized accordingly by our beloved Grand Master. Evant Taelyn was selected as our newest Deputy Grand Master, leaving the position of Regent open for applications. Atra Ventus was ultimately chosen as Regent, and will make a great addition to the Dark Council!

Conclusion

We had fun the past few weeks with our Vacation on Mustafar event! Furios and Ronovi did a heck of a job with giving us all a great lineup of competitions to participate in!

Keep an eye out for great things to come in the next few weeks regarding our newest faction, The Severian Principate and their interactions with the Dark Council and/or the Collective.
