Introduction

Hello Tarenti! My name, for those unfamiliar, is Kah Manet. I’ve been in Tarentum (as Samael Ozriel) for a little under two years. In my time with the Brotherhood, I have taken a number of positions ranging from BTL to AED to Rollmaster, and when I’m not doing Dark Brotherhood related things I am writing in my spare time about a fictional account of the birth of God as well as vampire novels every so often. My door is always open, and I’m always looking to help out.

Viata BTL Applications

Getting right into the important stuff, I’d like to open up Viata BTL applications to the whole Brotherhood. Viata will be the Force User Battle Team of Liath, and applications should include a road map of where you wish to take the Battle Team as well as how you intend to get there. Further requirements include:

• 24 Hour Email Turnaround Time

• JH or Above

• Force User of the Gray Path

• Active on Telegram

Calling for Volunteers!

Because we are a new house, there are a lot of things we need to do. We need to start coming up with wiki articles that reflect what our House has access to, as well as what type of weapons and armor we might use in battle. Because of this, I’d like to ask for some volunteers to help us make this a reality. I’ll be heading the Wiki Project, and will need at least 3 people to help me if we want it to be a quick and easy process. If you are interested, email me or send me a message on Telegram. (I do ask that if you volunteer, you have a strong grasp of the English language and know something about the Wiki)

If you don't like work on the Wiki, there will be other opportunities to help. We'll need people who can create graphics and write descriptions, as well as come up with flora and fauna for us to encounter on our new home (I believe we are taking Yridia IX as our home base. Grey Wolves will keep the base they have been using, and Viata will be able to create their own base if they so choose.)

Award Sweep

One other thing we really need to do is go through our roster and do an award sweep, ensuring that everyone who deserves an award gets one and is recognized for their work. I intend to do a monthly award sweep, tracking it on my own, but for the first one, it really makes it so much easier when people email a list of what they have done. I can use the statistics from the site, but those don’t cover things like helping so and so develop Battle Team Enemy 1 for Event XYZ. We’ll begin the award sweep on Monday, February 6th. Please make sure you have sent us your award information by then, otherwise we’ll be using what information we have.

What Do You Like To Do?

I’ve created a Google Form (found here) that I’m asking everyone in Liath to fill out. Basically, what is it you enjoy doing on a regular basis? I love fiction, but I know not many people in Tarentum submit to those competitions, which makes fiction comps kind of a waste when we could be providing gaming comps or trivia comps if members prefer those. If you could fill it out, that’d be awesome and would help the House Summit figure out what you guys like a lot faster.

30 Days In Office

Within my first 30 days as QUA, I’d like to:

• Make contact with everyone in the House and ask them what it is they’d like to see us do. I want us all to feel like we built Liath, because House Liath is all our baby.

• Get the Wiki Project up and running

• Get some awards sent out for our members

• Announce Viata’s BTL and get the BT’s up and running at maximum efficiency

That is my plan, and while it may seem like a handful of tasks easily completed, there are other things in the background that I will be doing as QUA to ensure that our Summit works well together and like a machine. A friendly, happy machine that caters to the needs of our friends. C-3PO, ok, the Summit is going to be like C-3PO.

Goodbye My Loves

I’ve started watching Clone Wars, and it’s pretty good. I hate Jar Jar Binks, which is funny cause I love Gungans and didn’t hate him nearly as much in the movies. But yeah, if you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend you do so. If you guys have any concerns, questions, comments, heart crushing criticisms, or whatever, you know how to reach me.

Also, my reports will not be including things like what member did a really good job this month (That will be found in AED Reports) or Competition Listings (That will be in BTL reports) but my reports will be big picture stuff and project sign up announcements.
