It’s December and we all know what that means. Two days until Star Wars. I’m super excited. I’ve got my tickets for the 17th and we’ll see if all the hype is worth it. We’re operating under a no spoilers in Naga Sadow chat and there is a special Episode 7 discussion channel on telegram. Let me know if you want in!

Brotherhood News

Herald Style Hanukkah starts this Friday, where V’yr and his crew will release goodies for the last ever HSH. I’m looking forward to seeing what they’ll give us. I’m hoping for some more Jedi friendly robes myself.

Yacks has also got everyone personalised recruitment links so that you can recruit all of your friends and use them on the random fans you’ll find at your local cinema.

Pravus has also changed how Clusters of Ice are awarded, check out the mini report below. Pravus also has his December event running, check out some of those comps listed further down in the report.

Clan News

Locke and Cethgus are releasing a fictional update that will be coming out in the next few days. Expect it to set up CNS’ fictional story for 2016.

No Clan event in January, but expect one for February.

House News

First off, I’ll mention that my Black Guard competition finished. Aexod won and is my Black Guard for the next three months.

Aexod is also serving as BTL of Shadow’s Bane.

A House fiction will be coming out next week after the Clan fiction comes out. Expect to see regular fiction coming out from both Locke and myself.

Finally, I’ve selected Tasha as my new Aedile to replace Maelous. I’d like to welcome Tasha on stepping up to the plate. As such, I’ll need a new BTL for the Night Raptors. I’m opening apps to the Clan for the next week, which will end on Tuesday 22nd December.

I have the following requirements for my BTLs.

The ideal candidate will have at least:

• A minimum rank of JM2 (Courier, Sergeant, Acolyte)
• 48 hour email turnaround
• A desire to begin serving other members in the Brotherhood

Additional qualifications that will stand out are:

• 24 hour email turnaround, or faster
• Positive and friendly presence on Telegram
• Eager and driven personality

Your application should contain at least the following:

• Your name
• Any relevant awards and experience
• At least one way that you'd be a positive addition to the House Summit
• At least one way that you'd be a positive addition to the House as a whole
• At least one way that you can help foster fun and camaraderie in the House

• Scarlet asks: What makes you the happiest and what angers you the most?

I would have to say that achieving something makes me happy. Idiocy and a lack of manners from people angers me the most.

• Scarlet asks: What are your plans for the new coming year?

Do work, get a better job, lose weight, seduce Atra, grow a beard like Maelous and get Adept to annoy the rest of the Summit.

• Aexod asks: How dare you be a Jedi in a House that carries the legacy of Marka Ragnos /bow

You got a problem with me?! YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH ME?!

• Tasha asks: What are we planning fictionwise for the future of Marka Ragnos?

HMR will be focusing on fighting our new enemy The Dominion where I will be tasked with running competitions focusing on a specific item/items. On top of that, we’ll be doing our own House events/etc, which will tie into The Dominion. I’ve got a large number of Ragnosians on board to help with the fiction writing and event running.

• Tasha asks: Will Aexod be scolded for making remarks about our glorious Jedi Quaestor?

Yes, he has been tasked with writing “I shall respect Sang” 20,000 times.

• Scarlet asks: Milk chocolate or dark chocolate?

Milk chocolate, duh!

• Aexod asks: If I become a Jedi, will I be forgiven?

I somewhat doubt that this move would be sincere, so no, forgiveness is not available.

• Tasha asks: Will I be the one to scold Aexod for his remarks because of the Quaestor refusing to comment? As my new Aedile? Sure, go have fun, Blue.

• Scarlet asks: Will you ever leave CNS?

One day, when I’m really old. Or when Locke has enough of my shit. Or when Atra leaves Q and runs away with me.

• Qyreia asks: Are you secretly planning to overthrow HSD?

Secretly? No. Overtly? Yes. I SHALL RULE THEM ALL!

• Atra asks: what sort of unique vectors do you seek to implement in an effort to increase your House's activity levels? Do you think it is a matter of approach, or are people more interested in the social aspects of the club over the competitive opportunities?

Good question. This is done differently for individuals within my House. Different people respond to different stimuli. For some, they’re here for the camaraderie, the group, the social aspects. For others, they want to succeed, be the best and win as many events as possible. My main focus is to identify what each member wants and try and find ways to provide those opportunities for them.

• Qyreia asks: As a Jedi and Brotherhood member, how do you feel about the somewhat recent inclusion of non-Force users, namely mercenaries and loyalists, into the group. Do you foresee a potential NFU Grandmaster in the distant future?

I’m all for it, the more variety the better. There’s always the potential for it if the members work their arses off to get there. Why, even you could be a future Grandmaster, Q-ball.

• Marcus asks: Why?

Why not?

• Atra asks: as a skilled writer, what recommendations would you give to NFU members in how to deal with combat against FU characters, and making it believable. I, for one, believe a skilled NFU can always find the upper hand, or even the playing field.

I could write a 3,000 word essay on this. But I’ll sum it up in a few words. Electric based weapons and bullets. Jedi suck fighting both. Use tricks, traps and terrain to overcome the Force. I look forward to making a Merc someday, gonna jack me up some Sith scum. If you ever need advice, don’t be afraid to come to me!

Sang’s Corner

I’ve got me a new Aedile in Tasha. Good news for me and bad news for her. More work for her to do, eh? We’ve got Star Wars Episode 7 for us all to fanboy over. I’m personally fanboying over John Boyega. Love that guy!

Tasha’s Corner

First off, I would like to thank Maelous for his service as the former Aedile. He has been an awesome guy and I appreciate all of the work he has put in to serve House Marka Ragnos. Secondly, I would like to thank Sanguinius for the opportunity he has allowed me to better serve our House and Clan. I look forward to working with him and everyone as we strive to help make House Marka Ragnos and Clan Naga Sadow an awesome fun place. As of right now, I will be looking into the current developments we have going for our House with Sang to see what we are planning to do next. I hope that as an Aedile, I can better serve and help everyone.
