A Message from the Quaestor

Hello, darlings! It is me, your friendly neighborhood redhead, here with my first report as Quaestor! First of all, I apologize for this report being so late. This has been a truly abysmal week IRL.

So, what plans do I have as your Quaestor, you may ask? Well, the honest answer is more of the same. We are going to continue working on developing the Dawn Conclave storyline, as well as expanding House Qel-Droma’s fictional influence within our sector. I plan to continue offering ya’ll things to do, including trying to get on a regular schedule for our RP weekends, and the occasional event. And of course, my big plan is to finally, finally get our wiki updated.

We’re going to have some fun and some laughs, and work on building a criminal empire! Doesn’t that sound like fun? And now, without further ado, the rest of the report. We have a lot going on, so let’s get started!

House Fiction Update

An Undisclosed Warehouse Nar Shaddaa

Low-Jack Krimmler suppressed the urge to groan at his sabacc hand before tossing his cards on the pile and shooting a glare at the dealer. He *knew that Sticks was stacking the deck somehow, but he simply could not figure out how.*

Sticks grinned as he gathered up the cards and began to shuffle. Low-Jack glared at him He was about to make his displeasure known when he saw the Rodian in the corner chugging from a large bottle. “Oy, Trasker! Go easy on that, we gotta job in a few hours!” Though he turned his head to look at Trasker, he kept Sticks within his peripheral vision.

The Rodian took a few more gulps before lowering the bottle to blink muzzily at Low-Jack. “Wha’s tha problem? I’m jus’ startin’ the celebration early!” The Rodian sharpshooter then belched to add emphasis to his point.

Qel-Droma News

• I am looking for an Aedile! Applications are due tomorrow so get them in!
• The results for The Great Ship Heist are in! A big congratulations to Tali, Alaisy and Leeadra for placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively!
• Along those lines, we have a new ship! You can find in in our discretionary forces.
• One last thing. More than one of you have mentioned feeling a bit of comp fatigue. So, for this month I will only be running one House related competition; a ship naming comp. In the near future, I will also be creating a survey to find out exactly how many competitions you feel are enough. I don’t want to wear ya’ll out, after all. Be sure to keep your eyes open for them!

Arcona News

• For those of you who have not heard, Uji has stepped down as Proconsul. He was the one who first recruited me to this club, and I am very sorry to see him go. If you see him on Telegram, be sure to wish him the best!
• In the meantime, our favorite mad scientist amoral sociopath medic has ascended to Proconsul. Congratulations, Rhylance! You can read more about it in Kordath’s announcement.
• In other news, Qyreia has also decided to step down from Quaestor of House Galeres. Whomever decides to fill the role will have some big shoes to fill. But, if you feel you are up to the challenge, check out this announcement for more details about applying.
• The ACC Tournament continues! As of right now, three Arconans remain: Rhylance, Terran and myself. You can go here to check out the bracket and tournament matches.
• The Shroud War is in round 3! We’ve got quite a few Arconans still in the race! When you get the chance, congratulate Eilen, Emere, Rhylance, Grot, Satsi and Zuji! For more info, check out this report

  • Lucine: Alive? Probably. The important question is, will he be in pants?

• Alaisy lastly asks: *List your top 3 favorite creatures you'd love to have as a pet, even if they were completely untameable*

  • Lucine: Can I just say all the Chiss and call it a day? The redhead is not really a ‘pet’ person; she is more of a people person.
