House Shan Quaestor Report #1

Hello guys. I know this is near the end of the month. I blame everyone else. However, I am now here as your Quaestor. I know that is probably terrifying to everyone who isn’t me, but I promise not to let things crash and burn tomorrow. Or the next day. No promises after that. Not going to lie, I am about a week behind schedule because I was working Anime Boston last weekend. That was also when I became overlord for Shan for all of like a handful of hours and did nothing with all the power of both being Aedile and Quaestor. Speaking of positions, everyone please welcome back Mordecai/ whatever he goes by now as Aedile. He is here to make sure I don’t immediately set everything on fire without his help. With all that aside, let’s get into the report.

DJB News:

So, on to the most interesting part of the report, all the new stuff that is going on. After all, it’s not like there is anything interesting after this section of the report. No major hypable events after this. Once again the Spring 2019 ACC championships are ongoing. Alas, I lost after a fun match with Tu’Quan. However, Moro definitely should be congratulated for making it to round three. Speaking of the fiction side of things, we have more item slots. While these new slots can not be used in the ACC, this gives you access to more items when it comes to writing fiction. Which is great for those who have nearly endless credits to spend. Somehow, I am still not out of the more fiction side of the club (we are getting there I promise). That is because we also have gotten an NPC slot for those of us who have reached the rank of Journeyman IV. The best part is that it is free, even if it is locked into being JM 4 at max. Feel free to thank the regent when you can. All right, finally out of the fiction, although not out of the Voice’s clutches as {Star Wars Celebration](https://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/news/djb-news-star-wars-celebration-2019-recap) happened. Feel free to look into what happened there for all the new things that are coming our way.

COU News:

Alright. Unfortunately, the Rumble Down Under event has ended for the Clan, but thankfully we have a report from Blade from about 25 days ago. However, while the event itself is over the report still contains some nice tools for those trying to figure out what is going on at the clan level. This includes information on all the major players for future COU events. Oh, Celevon is also going to be doing some things to help out with fictions. Keep an eye out for an announcement from him and Len

Survey Results

Based on the looks of the two surveys I sent out, it seems that very few people mind if I decide to start beating up on Daleem, however when it comes to the kind of damage the planet takes there is a bit of an issue. While once again the majority were ok with beating up Daleem, there was a lot more hesitance on damaging the planet, with a majority wanting it to be something fixable.

Looking to the future, the second survey had fewer responses. However, as this was for future events the responses were helpful. Since I got into power in Shan, I have been planning an event and the responses have helped me figure out what kind of competitions I will be using. Prepare for puzzles everyone! As for the last bit of information, I will be working on building up a House identity as that has been blurred with Hoth as of late. As a result, I will be working towards getting people’s opinion on the state of the House and how they believe things could best be moved forward. For right now, it looks like SenNet has the House’s eye, but feel free to yell at me if you think things should be focused elsewhere. Rest assured the upcoming event — Scorched Earth — will be focusing on Daleem first.
