Minions! Behold!

Another month, another report, and I come bearing it on your behalf! Rejoice!

There has been so much going on lately and that is fantastic. I like doing stuff, reading stuff, hearing stuff... I like stuff. As you are all aware, Awakenings has wrapped up and the results are out! Some pretty cool metrics and it is fantastic seeing the young blood spread out all over the score sheet. Way to represent people!

You can find the aforementioned results over here, and ocassionally somewhere around this spot.

Gloss those over, check out the comp submissions that were made public if you so wish, which can be found in the closed parent competition. Then you just click on the comp you want to find submissions for, scroll down just enough to see the list of names, and click the arrow next to the name. Then, if they made it public, you can see what they did and maybe figure out why they placed how they did.

Additionally, I have opened up a Discourse Thread for the post-Awakenings fallout for us all. No posts in it yet, so get going if you want to and feel free to ask if you want to be "written in" by someone else.

Right now both of our battle teams are running a joint event, other than that this is a month of relaxation and reflection post-Awakenings. Don't want everyone weary going into Ashes Fall next month. (Obvious plug is obvious)

Following your great success in the Clan Runon, can we expect to see feedback from yourself to other participating members, in an attempt to improve their future stories and create a community of fictional discussion with trial and error?

Whelp, I'm not going to sit down and tell everyone "I did this and this and this" unless they approach me directly. A lot of it is just writing and growing comfortable with it. However, I am in the process of organizing a DJB-wide Creative Writing Workshop that will be used as a platform for members to develop their ideas and improve their implementation.

Aediles' Corner

I don't have much to say this month other than how awesome you are. You are crazy active all of you and you keep surpassing yourselves. Just remember to keep that activity up even when we weren't running events. Keep up the good work guys and keep being awesome. Remember my door is always open if you ever need a chat or whatever.

Quaestor's Last Word

It was really, really awesome to see all the activity that Awakenings generated. Please use the feedback form and let the whole team know your thoughts. It is anonymous and won't cost you nothin' but time. This will also help us plot the October event, and hopefully address things you may or may not have liked.

Regardless, keep doing you, everyone! The strength of Fiction and the bonds between our members is fantastic and I cannot stress how much I love it. Yes, we get a little crazy in Telegram, what with all our spamming, but that's because we all get along so well. That's not bad, in moderation, but we can all do with a little less sticker spam from time to time.

Keep it up, minions. You're all my favourites and I can't wait to do more with all of you. Looking forward to the October event, and hopefully we'll all see each other on the other side, even as the Ashes Fall.
