HSD COMMAND SHIP

The Pelta Class frigate lead the way as it broke through the vastness of deep space. The remaining House Shar Dakhan fleet trailed behind in a tight echelon formation. The fleet had been making orbital scans of nearby planets and looting any resources found.

After several successful raids on their target planets, the fleet made its way out of that sector of space. Coming out of lightspeed several parsecs away secured the fleet an immaculately clean getaway. The ships maintained a steady course at one half engine power.

The Emergency Action Message (EAM) alarm began beeping in the Quaestor’s office. DarkHawk depressed the button. A voice broke over the communications system.

“Sir, we have an encrypted EAM for House Summit only.”

“Confirm authentication and proceed,” replied DarkHawk.

Several seconds passed, and the EAM flashed again, turning red to green. This time, a hologram began to play over the holographic projector. A monochrome image of the Clan Summit appeared before the Battlelord. DarkHawk bowed before his Summit, Warlord Bentre Sadow, and Augur Ashia Keibatsu.

“DarkHawk, we need to rendezvous immediately,” Bentre Sadow said.

“Rendezvous with the Perdition and the Fallen Spear, we will await your arrival,” Ashia Keibatsu said.

Another encrypted message came across in Aurebesh, and the Quaestor memorized the coordinates. DarkHawk hailed the bridge, immediately, a voice responded, “Yes, sir.”

“Captain, contact the XO and Augur Locke. Inform the fleet we are leaving this sector immediately. Sending new jump coordinates now. Move the fleet, Captain.”

“Coordinates received and uploaded into the NavComputer. I will begin the fleet jump procedures immediately,” replied the Captain.

Privateer Xuner Hoslt and Augur Locke Sonjie came into the Quaestor’s office. “You have something for us DarkHawk?” asked Xuner.

“We have been instructed to rendezvous the fleet with the Perdition and the Spear,” DarkHawk said.

“The entire fleet?” asked Locke.

“Yes, sir,” replied DarkHawk.

“Why the meet and greet then?” asked Xuner.

“I guess we will soon find out,” replied Locke.

“Indeed, sir. Indeed.”

The Captain of the bridge came across the comm system. “All personnel, prepare for jump to lightspeed.”

The comms broke again in the Quaestor’s office. “Sir, this is the Bridge. Ready to make the jump at your command…”

“Proceed, Captain. Inform us on arrival,” DarkHawk instructed.

“Copy that, sir,” replied the Captain.

ISD Perdition

HSD Fleet

A few hours later, the entire fleet of House Shar Dakhan arrived at their designated coordinates. What was a vast nothing of space in front of Clan Naga Sadow’s command ship, now was accompanied by one of its two Houses fleet.

The bridge officer aboard the ISD Perdition opened up a comm channel. “Sir, we have visual on HSD fleet.”

“Thank you, captain. Inform HSD’s Summit to shuttle here, and have them meet us on the bridge.”

“As you wish, sir.”

The Captain of the Perdition sent the message as instructed. Now, aboard the HSD command ship, the bridge Captain received the Perdition’s instructions and hailed the House Quaestor.

“Sir, we have both the Perdition and The Fallen Spear on screen. Perdition is requesting House Summit presence on their bridge. A shuttle is ready for you, sir.”

“Copy that. Summit is on the way,” DarkHawk replied.

Locke, DarkHawk and Xuner made their way to the Frigate’s hangar bay and boarded one of the Lambda Class shuttles sent over by the Perdition. Once onboard, the shuttle crew maneuvered the craft down the tarmac and out into space. Within a few short minutes, the shuttle made its way down the tarmac of Clan Naga Sadow’s command ship.

The Dakhanians disembarked the shuttle and made their way to the bridge. The bridge doors slid open, both the Consul and Proconsul were joined by Grand Master Keibatsu, all three ranking members stood in front of the bridge’s large viewing panels. The Dakhanians stopped short of their Summit and bowed.

“DarkHawk, Xuner, Locke, good to see all of you. I am pleased to hear your recent missions have been a success.” Bentre said.

“Yes, sir. Intel was on point and we have procured the resources you requested,” replied DarkHawk.

“Thank you, DarkHawk. HSD’s efforts will not go unrewarded,” Ashia said.

“Well, I will take all the credits you want to send my way, ma’am,” Xuner said.

“This exceeds credits,” the Lion of Tarthos said intently.

Bentre gestured to the viewing panels. “Captain, bring the Perdition about to our port side and give the order, would you?” the Consul instructed.

“As you command, sir” replied the Captain.

The ISD began to slowly move her nose around to its port side. The HSD fleet was no longer in the viewing screens, the blankness of deep space now replaced those ships.

“What are we looking at?” asked Locke.

“Captain…” Bentre said.

“Incoming, sir…”

In a matter of seconds, blacked-out ships began to appear on the viewing screen. Making the jump out of lightspeed, four Raider I Corvettes, one Strike Class Medium Cruiser, one Ton-Falk Carrier and finally one Vindicator Class Heavy Cruise positioned themselves in front of the Perdition.

“The spoils of war,” said the Grand Master.

“For your efforts over the last few months and our success during the War, we have equipped House Shar Dakhan with a new fleet,” Bentre said.

“Your last fleet proposal was indeed a benefit to the Clan. The fleet has been approved, and, as you can see, they are maneuvering into position to begin the transfer process,” said Proconsul Ashia Keibatsu.

The three Dakhanians bowed to their Summit once again. “We cannot thank you enough for this,” said DarkHawk.

“Go, oversee the transfer process, and when that is complete, we will have further instructions for you…” the Warlord said with a devious smile.

HSD

What say you, Dakhanians? Well things have been crazy would be an understatement to say! I was intending on getting this out yesterday, but like all things real life, that did not happen. Yesterday was riveting for me as well as some others within the club. You see, yesterday was Veteran’s Day. Like MANY other Veteran members here it holds significance to each. With everything that has gone on with me medically, and in light of these new conditions which I been recently diagnosed with, I planned to stay low-key over the holiday and heed my Doc’s advice and recover. But a former mentor and 1st Sergeant I was stationed here with, called and drug me to the base luncheon where I heard two keynote speakers that brought me to tears. One was a WWII B17 pilot retired Colonel, the speaker, a active duty SOCOM Special Operator Sergeant Major. Powerful words from two great men and excellent speakers. I don’t want to turn this into a somber report here. I just wanted to take a second to say, that regardless of how you feel, put aside all the rhetoric of the times, the social media banter and take a moment to thank those folks still wearing the uniform and pay homage to those who have given the sacrifice for us all. Believe it or not, we have quite an eclectic group of folks here within the Club that are Veterans as well as members still wearing the uniform. From the top-down, Grand Master to Journeyman I want to reach across our respective universe’s and shake your hand, snap a salute and say thank you.

So for all the military Veterans and current Active, Guard, Reserve folks, this one is for you! I cannot thank you all enough!

Adept Malik Sadow knocked out six Crescents with Amethyst Stars, two with Sapphire Star and one with a Ruby Star! BOOYA!

Etah Bloodfyre was promoted to Warlord! Huge Congrats!

Malisane Sadow garnered 33 Clusters of Ice and one Legion of Scholar, for knocking out all those SA Courses last month! Great Job Sir!

Xuner and I helped co-organize the Halloween Event,had a lot of fun being a part of that!

Thank you all again for another solid month of activity! Everyone should be very flipping proud of yourselves! Keep those reflexes sharp, you scurvy dawgs. I am sure something is lurking around the galaxy, waiting to rear its ugly head at us!

Final Thoughts

Well a crazy month to say the least. But I am glad that I am here with you good folks and I cannot be prouder of you all. You all kick ass and I am so honored to be a part of this House! As always, you dirt merchants, If I forgot anything or made a mistake please let me know so I can correct as needed. I look forward to our future missions and putting our new fleet to the test!
