House Shar Dakhan Report - April 2015
Greetings Shar Dakhan! We are now at a month of being your loyal Quaestor and Aedile, the workloads have been mounting with determination and fun. With your Consul and Proconsul tirelessly working hard on this Clan-event and with the Journeymen numbers rising healthily, you can safely say that the Clan is back on track to being a powerful unit. We have been completely astounded by the amount of awards, promotions and other bits that have invaded our inboxes, but that is the reward that I am always excited about in my humble view. Activity shows hard work, and in turn a genuine interest in Naga Sadow’s future. Onwards to the report!

This rewriting of the wiki has turned from a small-scale project, to an eleven paged, four document collection of multiple authors and overtime work. We’ve finally caught up with the fictional side of Shar Dakhan, we have reinvigorated the several many areas of this tropical planet and its respective moons, we have designed several strong and capable ships from scratch and hints, we’ve also taken the Devil’s Shroud wiki and perked it up to the highest standard by our Naga Sadow judge! And finally your summit has taken a brainstormed idea and made it a living, breathing community; the Lion’s Tooth of Seng Karash! We’re no experts, but it’s definitely a start.
The Lion’s Tooth
This is going to be the official name for the Citadel, as agreed by our summit and the Rollmaster. We believe that it clearly demonstrates the hard work and prosperous reign of Muz Ashen for six years as our Grand Master. By giving him an immortal monument within Naga Sadow, his legacy will not fade away so easily as Antei did. Keep your eyes peeled for the wiki to be revealed soon in the near future.
Extra Wiki-help
As I said before, there are many areas that I and Inarya are simply nowhere near an expert in, and the latest Vendettas and War is those areas. We need veterans like yourselves to come forth and explain to us what Shar Dakhan was specifically part of. I understand most of you have your thoughts about this, because what would be the point in explaining what several jedi did in four weeks stuck on a desert planet with very little to do than defend. But this is exactly what we are looking for.
The summit in general wishes to have these gaps filled in quickly, not just for our benefit. If you wish for an example, then I will gladly turn to the Original Trilogy of Star Wars for you. In Episode IV: A New Hope, Darth Vader reaches the Millenium Falcon with his storm troopers, only to sense a life force he had not felt in a very long time, that was his moment to reminisce the last part of humanity he had left behind and the very reason why he was forced into this life. Despite his complete resistance to forget that entire experience on Mustafar, Darth Vader found it was important to remember for future reference. It’s the little things like that which help members in their own character development, that is why it is so important to fill these gaps. Just so they are remembered.
The Devil’s Shroud
Many changes have appeared within this Battleteam that it could make it’s own movie. Firstly we saw the rise of our former ProConsul Anima to the mantle of BTL. Then we saw him appoint Daedric as his first BT Sergeant, which I fully support because Daedric knows the in and out of this Battleteam, and finally we saw Anima leave to become our Clan Rollmaster! J.J. Abrams can you keep up? We opened the application for only a short limit because the House Event has kept up busy and we certainly cannot leave a team without a leader.
Proving Grounds
The Clan event was met with a very positive outburst from everyone around the clan, including elders like Malik! However there could only be three winners...or was there? Things took a surprising turn when there was a two way tie for third place between Robert Sadow and Anima. But following the leader every step of the way was the Battlelord Jeric Cyrin, prowling closer and closer to victory. He however was only stopped in his tracks by a lone Guardian, our very own Darkblade! With a fire in his eyes and robotics for hands, he soared into first place for most competitions, earning him that sweet spot on the podium. Congratulations to all the Proving Grounds winners, I hope to met you again in a healthy rivalry very soon!
What Lies Beneath
With the help of our Rollmaster, Inarya and I have designed a house event to run the three weeks. This event includes a dabble in the Runon world, the Graphics department, and a healthy dosage of Gaming for your pleasure. The plot revolves around House members whom on reports of finding a disturbance out to sea on some islands, they progress to discover the horrors within. Upon discovery of the vile and horrendous situation between Devil’s Shroud and mysterious denizens, the members are dedicated to persevere and diminish the threat to House Shar Dakhan. The story is mixed with plot twists, surreal areas and an encounter of the fourth kind! We love the rich activity from our RO teams who took their tasks head on, I cannot wait to thoroughly read all your stories with Inarya and Anima. Here is the link to the main event, enjoy!

Instead of listing every single competition, who organises it and when it ends, I will just leave you the link at your convenience. Here!
However I wish to highlight one competition. Armad and Scarlet have designed their own fictional competition with the idea of infiltrating a Corellian Corvette along with a small team of Special Operation troopers and bringing the ship back for use in the Warhost. It sounds perfect for anyone who wishes to test their assassin character of whoever is choosing to try the future Non-Force sensitive route. I’ll leave the competition link here! Aedile’s Corner
Right as you all know we are coming near to the end of What Lies Beneath Week 1, so far I have to say the participation from you is a little disappointing. I’m not going to moan or berate you, the first week ends on Saturday 11th of April i’m looking to all of you to pick it up.
Other than that little moan I don’t have much more to say. Big Congrats to Marcus for getting Battleteam Leader, I know that both me and Galleros are looking forward to working with you and seeing what you can do. Also I want to personally thank Anima, he has been an asset for both myself and Galleros upon getting this position. His experience and guidance was invaluable in helping the both of us finding our feet. So thank you Anima.
Personal Log
Just to reiterate what Inarya has said, the level of submissions, activity and alertness is truly disappointing from you guys. The Proving Grounds showed how truly talented you all are, so please do not let the summer lull take over your activity. If you didn’t notice, Inarya and myself both placed in the Proving Grounds, along with Anima gaining a tied third place. We do not slack, so why should anyone else? We strive to succeed and reap the benefits, that is what we are good at!
With that aside I personally wish to thank Anima for the effort and dedication he has placed into our house since we moved here. Words cannot describe the amount of gratefulness I feel for him. I’m hoping that our co-operation will last throughout the year too, but we will see. In any case, the opportunities to help your house are on a list for you to take a peek at, so feel free to come to either Inarya, Anima, Marcus or myself if you’re itching for some good hard work, the rewards can be generous. Again, thank you Anima, welcome to Marcus and all of his buddies for choosing our house to join. Until next time!
