Fort Tanisad
Kaist
38 ABYCold drops pelted closed eyelids and startled the Sephi into consciousness. Doren Merdin, a Vatali communication specialist, lay covered in mud and soaked through to his undergarments by the drizzle falling from the dark grey sky. His body ached. His head pounded. He rolled over onto his side and was met with a sharp pain and a warm sensation left of his navel. Reaching down, his fingers touched a warm liquid that stained them red. Pressing firmly on his wound, he slowly hoisted himself up onto his feet, staggering slightly but still managing to keep his balance.
Hello All!
Fort Tanisad marks a stopping point for Vatali Unsettled. Things aren’t looking so good for the Vatali people and Kiast as a whole. We will be resuming in the next few months with more of this exciting story. Stay tuned.
For right now, I would like to thank all that applied for the position of Aedile. It was a very tough decision but I feel that Yuki Suoh will serve you well. He offered up some very good ideas on how to help the House achieve greatness and offer you a better experience. He has even come out of his Up house to give you all this message in this fancy little section he calls “Jack’s Random Gubbins and Soup”...
Greetings everyone,
I'm Yuki Suoh, better known as Jack around the DB. I've been around for a very, very long time (20 years or so now) and I've been in various summit positions throughout the club. My primary focus, regardless of whatever Revak tries to make me do, is to handle the fictional development of the members and of the House. To that end, I will be getting with people after The Great Jedi War (go do the things) in an attempt to find out what everyone would like to see in the future. Do you wanna do RP stuff? I'll kick Revak in the shin and make him run something. Wanna write a sappy love story between your character and Darth Vader for gits and shiggles? I'll see what I can do to make that happen. We in the leadership want to do our best to meet your needs as often and as best as we can. So, look forward to the horizon and we will make our home a good one that caters to as many needs as possible.
Revak is whining at me to hurry up so I'll leave it there.
If you haven’t already heard, there is a Great Jedi War looming on the horizon. You will be hearing a lot from us coming into and during the event to help you with anything you need to get started. We have no specific dates yet but I have a feeling they will be released very soon.
If this is your first GJW then we are really excited for what you're about to experience! Unlike most of the events you’ve been a part of in the past, with a GJW you are competing with everyone in the Club not only for yourself, but for Odan-Urr. Everything you do earns points towards elevating your Clan. That means you have a direct influence on where we head in the greater DB universe as well the chance to obtain some pretty cool things like the First Clan title or gear custom designed for Odan-Urr. Not only that but the credits earned during a GJW are also much higher.
In short, a lot of fun. There are always some great fiction competitions, gaming competitions, graphic competitions and a mixture of them all. There are team based things to do and others not often found on the Competition page.
If you’re still unsure about the whole thing, the Shadow Academy has a brand new course devoted to Competitions: Vendettas. It’s quick, it’s easy, it’s multiple choice… so take a couple of minutes to introduce yourself to Vendettas.
If you’re interested in doing some gaming for the event, You should read the FIST Report. In it they go over our gaming policies as well as a SIGN UP for the Jedi Academy and Heroes of the Storm brackets.
Also if you are interested in gaming and aren’t a part of DB Gaming on [Telegram - Log in to view join link] or Discord, add that to your list of chats. From there you will get to meet FIST-o-matic Bot who you can use to queue up with other Clan gamers for some intense PVP shenanigans on many of the Clan’s Official Game Servers.
I think that’s all I have for now. Be on the lookout for even more info coming your way!
I would like to see everyone participate in as many events as they can. Even if fiction isn’t your thing, you may surprise yourself by just how good of a writer you are. I wish you luck in the upcoming GJW!
As always, if you have any questions, concerns or just want to tell us how crappy we are, please feel free to contact Yuki or myself and as always, we wish you all well. Stay safe.
